20 / 40W 100V LINE CO-AXIAL CEILING SPEAKER
Thank you for selecting Amperes CS620 / 840 series of co-axial ceiling speakers, built meant to deliver the pleasant music to your ears.
They are available in 6” and 8” respectively, suitable for 70 / 100V line output amplifiers, comes with matching transformer and thus enabling multiple units
installations in commercial buildings.
We appreciate your little time spend in reading this short instructions, and we believe that by proper installation method, you shall not only getting the right sound,
but also a safe and neat fittings to your environment.
STEP 1 : CUTTING A HOLE IN THE CEILING

Cut a circular hole at the ceiling board ( Plaster Ceiling or Ceiling
Board ) according to the size below :
CS640 : 205 mm
CS840 : 240 mm
STEP 2 : DISMANTLING SPEAKER GRILLE
Dismantle the speaker grilles from the speaker assembly by pushing
the speaker clamp upwards. Ensure even pressing to avoid denting
the grille.

STEP 3 : CONNECTING THE SPEAKER CABLES
Connect the speaker cable from the ceiling to the connectors
provided. Ensure polarity of cable is correctly terminated to the
terminals. Recommended speaker size shall be 16 awg and below,
twisted pair and preferable with outer jacket.

STEP 4 ; MOUNTING SPEAKER TO CEILING
With the speaker clamp in closed position, push the whole speaker assembly
to the ceiling.
Once in place, use a screw driver to turn the screw, which in turn would push
the speaker clamp downwards to hold the speaker to the ceiling board

Use a screw driver or electric screw driver
to turn the speaker clamp, clockwise until
the whole speaker is securely fitted to the
ceiling
STEP 5 : INSTALLING THE GRILLE
The final step shall be attaching the speaker grille to the speaker assembly.
The grill should be fitted without glue, this would enable easy future retraction
if the need arises.

without denting the wire mesh.

NOTE :
It is advisable to check the ceiling strength before installing the speaker as the
weight may cause the panel to drop ( false ceiling panel ) or damage to the plaster
ceiling.
A solution is to attach a wire rope to ceiling frame or by reinforcing the side of
ceiling hole with a piece of wood.
