e Clock Camera must have an SD card inserted to work properly. It will accept a Micro SD
card of up to 32 GB in size.
1. e SD card slot is located on the back of the device.
2. Gently place the SD card into the slot as shown, with the gold connections facing DOWN
and the printing facing UP.
3. Gently push the SD card into the slot. It will click into place. DO NOT FORCE the SD card
into place. If there is any resistance, remove the SD card. Check the position of the card, and
try again. An incorrectly inserted card may damage your device and void your warranty.
4. When the SD card is properly inserted, it will look like the bottom picture.

BEFORE FIRST USE - FILES
No other les are required for use of your Clock Camera with Windows or Mac PCs. It uses
standard drivers that are already installed on your computer.
Please refer to the last page of this manual for suggested soware for playback of your media
les.
Please fully charge your Clock Camera before rst use. Please use the included wall adapter for
best performance. Do not use any other adapter.
1. Insert one end of the wall adapter into the USB port on the Clock.
2. Be sure the Power switch is set to OFF during charging.
3. Plug in the wall adapter.
4. Please charge for several hours.

ALARM CLOCK FUNCTIONS
NOTE: e alarm clock functions of this devices are NOT set by the Recording time / date
settings that appear in the DVR settings later in the manual. e alarm clock functions are
controlled separately and are similar to any other standard alarm clock.

SET DATE & TIME
1. Press the SET button. e front display will blink.
2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the YEAR.
3. Press SET again and the MONTH and DATE will appear. e MONTH will be blinking.

4. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the MONTH.
5. Press SET again and adjust the DAY, HOUR and MINUTES the same way.
6. Aer you set the MINUTES, press SET again and your changes will be saved.

ALARM CLOCK FUNCTIONS
SET ALARM
1. Press the MODE button. e front display will show 4 lines.
2. Press SET to set the HOUR for your Alarm. It will be blinking.

3. Use UP and DOWN to choose the Hour for your Alarm.
4. Press SET again and the MINUTES will blink. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the
MINUTES.
5. Press SET again. Now choose the amount of time you want to SNOOZE for. You can
SNOOZE for 1 - 60 minutes.
6. Press SET again. Now choose the Alarm Sound that you want. You can choose a Nature
Sound (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) or a standard beeping alarm (6).
7. Press MODE to save your settings.

ALARM CLOCK FUNCTIONS
24 HOUR CLOCK / TEMP
1. To alternate between a 24 hour and 12 hour clock, press the UP button.
2. To alternate between Celsius and Fehrenheit temperature display, press the DOWN button.
TALKING TIME
1. To hear the time, press the SNOOZE bar.
NATURE SOUNDS
You can fall asleep to the sounds of nature with this option.
1. Press the TIME button to choose how long you want the sounds to play, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50
or 60 minutes.
2. HOLD the SNOOZE button down for 3 seconds, until the sound starts to play. e display
will count down the remaining time.
3. Choose a dierent sound by pressing the SNOOZE button to pause. Press SNOOZE again
and the countdown will restart using the next Nature Sound option.
4. To cancel the sounds and countdown, press the MODE button 2 times to return to the
standard clock display.

DVR SETUP
To set up the DVR functions of this device, you will need to connect it to an HD TV or
monitor with an HDMI connector, using the HDMI cable included in the box. You may also
purchase a longer HDMI cable if needed.
You will need to connect to your HD TV when setting up, and when you want to playback
your les.
Connecting to your HD TV
1. With the power switch on your clock set to OFF, plug the small end of your HDMI cable
into the HDMI port on the clock.
2. Plug the other end of your HDMI cable into an available HDMI slot on your TV.
3. Use your TV Remote to select the proper HDMI input you plugged the cable in to.

DVR SETUP MENU
With the HDMI cable properly inserted, and your HD TV on the correct channel input, you
can now access the Menu system of your DVR.
1. Turn ON the power switch to your DVR.
2. Use the DVR Remote Control, and press the Power button.
3. Aer a few seconds, your camera should appear on your TV screen with a “LIVE” picture.
4. Press the MODE button to enter the Menu system of your DVR.
5. At this point, you may see a warning that there is no image or no le. is is normal. If you
do have les on your device, you will see an image of your rst le. Ignore that for now.
6. Press MENU to enter the Menu options.

DVR SETUP MENU
You will use the UP, DOWN and OK buttons on your DVR remote control to access the menu
options and make changes.
CAMERA RESOLUTION
1. Use the arrow keys to move down to RESOLULTION. Press OK to enter the options.
2. Use the arrow keys to highlight the resolution you want your camera to use during Video
captures. A higher resolution means a better image. A lower resolution means your les
sizes will be smaller.
3. Press OK to SAVE the highlighted setting.

Note: is setting does NOT aect the time and date shown on the clock face. You will
be setting the Date and Time that will appear on the video and photo les, and in their
timestamps.
DATE & TIME
1. Use the arrow keys to move down to Date / Time. Press OK to enter this option.
2. Use the arrow keys to adjust the year. Press OK to move to the month. Continue adjusting
the day, hour, minute and seconds, using the arrow keys and OK to move to the next
option.
3. e last option on this page is the format you wish the date to appear on your les. Use the
arrow keys to see change the option until you get the option you like.
4. When nished setting your Date and Time, press MENU to Save your settings.

experiment with these settings to nd your best option.
AUTO POWER OFF
1. Use the arrow keys to move down to Date / Time. Press OK to enter this option.
2. Use the arrow keys to adjust the year. Press OK to move to the month. Continue adjusting
the day, hour, minute and seconds, using the arrow keys and OK to move to the next
option.
3. e last option on this page is the format you wish the date to appear on your les. Use the
arrow keys to see change the option until you get the option you like.
4. When nished setting your Date and Time, press MENU to Save your settings.

is setting controls the frequency of the video image. You will need to adjust this to match the
TV frequency of your country for best image during recording and playback.
VIDEO FREQUENCY
Some general guidelines - for the USA, set the frequency to 60 Hz.
For the UK, set the frequency to 50 Hz.
Arrow down to the next page of options. e rst setting on Page Two of options is Language.
Press OK to enter this option and change the Language if necessary.

FORMATTING THE SD CARD
A new SD card should not require formatting to work with this DVR. Should you need to
Format an SD card, the option is here for you.
When formatting, be sure to choose the SD card. ere is no internal memory available to
recordings.

DEFAULT SETTINGS
Should you need to return your DVR to Factory Settings, you can do so with the Default
Setting option.
ere are no other Menu Options you need to adjust.

PLAY BACK ON TV
You can remove the SD card, or connect your DVR to your PC using a USB cable to view your
les. But, you can also view them directly on your HD TV.
Note: You will have greater control over playback and le deletion using your PC.
1. Press the MODE button if necessary to see the camera in “LIVE” mode, to leave the Menu
options.
2. Press the MODE button again, and if you have any les on your SD card, the rst le will
appear on screen.
3. Use the arrow keys to cycle through your available les.
4. Use the OK button when prompted to play a video le.

DELETE
When viewing a le on your TV, you can delete it.
1. To delete the le you are viewing, press the MENU button.
2. Highlight the Delete Option.
3. You will be able to delete the Current le, which is appearing in the background of the
menu. Or, you may delete ALL the les on the card.
PROCEED CAREFULLY! You can not retrieve deleted les. We recommend that you use a PC
for best le maintenance.

RECORDING
Blue Status Light
Power Switch
NOTE: e main Power Switch on the back of the clock must be ON for recordings. Camera
functions will not work while connected to USB.
1. Press the POWER button on the Remote Control. A blue status light will appear on the
clock face. is status light will go dark in certain cases.
2. To Stop using Recoding functions of this clock: rst, stop the current mode by pressing the
appropriate button on the remote. For example, to stop using Motion Activation, press the
Motion Activation button. e blue status light will appear when in Stand By Mode.
3. In Stand By Mode, with blue status light ON, press the Power Button on the Remote
Control. e blue status light should go OFF.
4. Now you can turn OFF the main Power Switch on the back of the clock.
Refer to instructions for retreiving your les using the USB cable and your PC.

RECORDING
1. With the clock in Stand By Mode (see previous step), press the Motion Activated
Recording button on the Remote Control.
2. e status light will go dark. It is waiting for motion before starting.
3. Wave your hand in front of the camera and the status light will blink 2 times. You are
recording in Motion Activation Mode.
4. To stop recording, press the Motional Activation Mode button on the Remote Control. e
blue status light will appear. You are now in Stand By Mode.
NOTE: Your clock will record for 3 minutes when motion activated. It will continue to record
additional 3 minute videos as long as motion is detected.
MOTION ACTIVATED
1. With the clock in Stand By Mode (see previous step), press the Video Recording button on
the Remote Control.
2. e status light will blink 3 times, then go dark. You are now recording.
3. To stop recording, press the Video Recording button againon the Remote Control. e blue
status light will appear. You are now in Stand By Mode.
NOTE: Your clock will save a video le every 3 minutes in standard mode.
STANDARD VIDEO
1. With the clock in Stand By Mode (see previous step), press the Audio Recording button on
the Remote Control.
2. e status light will blink 1 time, then go dark. You are now recording audio only
3. To stop recording, press the Audio Recording button againon the Remote Control. e blue
status light will appear. You are now in Stand By Mode.
