BEFORE YOU START
is hat DVR includes a rechargeable battery that will give you on average about 2 hours of
recording on a single charge. We recommend you charge this unit for about 4-6 hours each
time (overnight the rst time).
It embeds an 8GB memory that will give you hours and hours of video recording time.
Video resolution is 780x480 at 30fps, and audio is clear and crisp at 353kbps!

CHARGING:
To charge hat, use the included USB cable. Connect one end to usb port on hat and other to
USB port on computer or wall adapter with a USB port.

SETTING TIME STAMP
1. We highly recommend that aer charging your unit, set the time stamp feature to ensure
that your videos are properly stamped with the correct date and time.
1. Connect hat to computer. USB cable to hat then other end to computer
2. Find hat on computer. Usually as REMOVABLE DISK. Click START >Computer

3. Find REMOVABLE DISK 9note that the removable disk letter may vary on your computer)
4. Next go back to TECH SUPPORT section where you got this user manual and locate time le
(TAG.TXT) and save it to this root section, right below DCIM folder. Please do not change le
name as your time le will not work.

5. Adjust time to reect your current date and time. Please maintail format EXACTLY. Just
change the number portions. Leave the word DATE as is and where it is!
(Changing or moving anything from their present position in anyway will not enable your
time stamp to change. (If you feel like you changed it by accident and not sure what it was,
simply re-save the le from our website and start over!)
EXPLANATION:

2013/10/25 - 2013 = year, 10=Month, 25=Day of month
12:30:12 - 12=HOUR of day, 30=MINUTE, 12=SECONDS
HINT: add about 1 or 2 minutes when adjusting time so that by the time you are done, time
is closer to being accurate.
6. Aer adjusting time, SAVE and close out of editor.
7. At this point we recommend you unplug your unit from computer, then turn it on and
record a test le to check that time stamp was properly done. If test le still does not show
proper time on test video, then please repeat process.

VIDEO RECORDING
1. Dont forget system switch must be in ON position before starting
2. slide remote cover down and press button. Hat will vibrate continuously for about 3 seconds
and stop.
3. Your hat has now started recording video
4. To stop recordin, press same power button on remote once. Hat will vibrate 3 times. Your re-
cording has now been stopped and saved
5. Repeat as necessary.

RETRIEVING YOUR FILES
You may go into the folders noted above to view and copy your les.
You may also delete les from these folders.
NOTE: Mac users must empty their trash before disconnecting your watch aer deleting les.

2. CONNECT USB CABLE: Connect included USB cable to unit, then to computer USB
port. is should allow you to nd and open DCIM folder to view and manage les.
Please COPY your les to your PC for best playback.
IMORTANT: Before connecting to your computer, make sure system switch is set
to OFF. Your les may not download if switch is not onin OFF position before
connecting.

Your Windows PC or Mac has built-in soware that will play most of the les created by devices
like yours. However, if you are having problems playing your les, or need more options, please
download and try these programs.

As with ANY les you download from the internet, be sure to scan them for viruses using your
particular virus scanner. While most users report no issues using this soware, we can not be
