Read and keep operating instructions
These operating instructions belong to this remote-controlled car. They
contain important information regarding initial use and handling. To
increase comprehensibility, the remote-controlled car will only referred
to as „car“ below.
Before using the car, read through the operating instructions carefully, particularly
the safety instructions. Failure to comply with these operating instructions can lead
to serious injuries or damage to the car.
The operating instructions are based on the valid standards and rules in the
European Union. Please also note the country-specific directives and law abroad.
Keep the operating instructions for further use. If you pass the car on to third parties,
please also ensure that you pass on these operating instructions.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are use in these operating instructions, on
the car or on the packaging.
WARNING!
This signal symbol/word indicate a hazard with a
medium degree of risk, which could lead to death or
serious injury if it is not avoided.
NOTE!
This signal symbol/word warns of possible damage
to property.
This symbol gives you useful information about assembly or operation.
Products that are marked with this symbol fulfil all applicable
Community regulations of the European Economic Area.
This symbol indicates that the packaging should be recycled.

Intended use
This toy is intended for private use. It is suitable for children from the age of 8. This
product complies with the requirements of the R&TTE Directive 1999/5 EC. It is class
1 radio equipment. Operation is permitted in all EU countries. The manufacturer or
retailer shall not assume any liability for losses caused by intended or improper use.
Safety instructions
This product is not suitable for children under the age of
3 due to small parts that can be broken and swallowed.
− This device is recommended for children from the age of 8.
− Read through these operating instructions together with your
child prior to initial use. In doing so, functions and safe use
should be explained in an illustrated and clear manner.
− Caution! Driving the car requires skill and must take place
under the direct supervision of an experienced adult.
− The correct assembly must be must be carried out or
supervised by an adult.
− Only drive in appropriate rooms or terrain (open spaces
without obstacles) and in direct visual contact. Do not drive on
sand, snow or through puddles.
− Never drive in the vicinity of railway tracks or roads.
− Do not cover the transmitter on the remote control unit or
the receiver on the car. If the transmitter or the receiver are
covered, no signals can be transmitted or received.
Please note when inserting the batteries/rechargeable
batteries:
− Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries away from children.
− Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries with the charging
device.
− Do not overcharge rechargeable batteries.
− Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult
supervision!

− Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the toy prior to
being charged!
− Do not use different batteries/rechargeable batteries or used
and new, or rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries
together.
− Use batteries/rechargeable batteries of the same brand and in
a new condition.
− Always replace all batteries/rechargeable batteries in the car
or in the remote control unit at the same time.
− Insert the batteries/rechargeable batteries with the correct
polarity.
− Replace the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the presence
of an adult.
− Remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries from the car/
remote control unit when they are depleted.
− Keep the batteries/rechargeable batteries dry and at normal
room temperature.
− Never use or insert the batteries/rechargeable batteries in
the vicinity of hot objects, such as fire, heating or under direct
sunlight. Otherwise, the batteries/rechargeable batteries
could be damaged or explode.
− Do not throw the batteries/rechargeable batteries into fire
or on the floor or against other items; do not dismantle the
batteries/rechargeable batteries.
− Do not immerse the batteries/rechargeable batteries in water
and do not store them in a damp environment. Store in a cool,
dry place.
− Do not short-circuit the connection terminals.
− Never leave the rechargeable batteries unattended during
charging.
− Avoid battery acid coming into contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes. If battery acid does come into contact
with skin, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of
clear water and immediately contact a doctor.
− Clean the batteries/rechargeable batteries and connection
clamps, if necessary.
− Switch off the car and the remote-control unit after use (switch
to OFF).

− Remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries from the car/
remote control unit in the case of longer periods of disuse.
− Depleted batteries/rechargeable batteries do not belong in
household waste.
− Take the depleted batteries/rechargeable batteries to your
local disposal centre.
WARNING!
Injury hazard!
Improper handling of the car can result in injuries.
− Keep hands, clothing, hair etc. away from rotating wheels.
− Do not leave the remote control unit and car unsupervised
when switched on.
− Switch the on/off switch underneath the car to OFF during
transport and after each use.
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the car can result in damage.
− Caution! Do not drive the car into people, animals or objects.
− The LEDs for front and rear lights cannot and must not be
replaced.
− Protect the remote control unit from pressure, heat and
dust. Otherwise, malfunctions and damage can occur to the
electronic, housing or batteries.
− Do not immerse the remote control unit and car in water or
other liquids.
− Do not make any changes or modifications to the car or the
remote control unit. Pay attention to the guarantee conditions.

Initial use
Unpacking
• For protection during transport, the underside of the car and
remote control unit are each connected to the packaging. The
transport screws can be loosened and removed by hand.
• Use a small crosshead screwdriver for the screws on the
remote-control unit.
1. Remove all of the parts from the packaging.
2. Check the car and the accessories for possible transport damage.
3. Check whether all parts are complete (see Fig. A and B and the parts list on
page6).
Prepare remote control unit
4. Remove the screw on the battery compartment lid l

of the remote-control
unit and slide the lid open in the direction of the arrow.
5. Insert the 9V block battery type 6LR61 (AM-6) into the remote-control unit.
6. Replace the battery compartment lid and secure it with the screw.
Insert batteries into car
1. Slide the on/off switch

on the underside of the car to OFF. Otherwise, the
battery compartment

cannot be opened.
2. Use your thumbs to press the battery compartment lid

down slightly on the
right and left of the OPEN mark. Slide the battery compartment lid upwards in the
direction of the on/off switch.
3. Fold the battery compartment lid upwards.
4. Insert six type LR6 (AA)

batteries, as shown on the base of the battery
compartment. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
5. Fold the battery compartment lid downwards again and slide the lid away from
the on/off switch, so that it is correctly locked.
Adjust alignment
The alignment only needs to be adjusted if the car pulls to the left or right by itself
when driving straight ahead (see „Use“ section).
− Car pulls to the left: Rotate the wheel alignment

slightly to the right (R)
(see Fig. A).
− Car pulls to the right: Rotate the wheel alignment to the left (L).
− Check the adjustment and repeat the process, if necessary.

1. Set the on/off switch

3. Press the button on the remote control unit in order to drive forwards or reverse/
steer left or right with the car.
Please note the direction arrows printed on the buttons.

• When driving forwards and reversing, front and rear lights illu-
minate accordingly.
• If the car should pull to the left or right when driving straight
ahead, you must adjust the alignment (see „Adjust alignment“
section).
4. After us, switch the on/off switch of the car and remote control unit back to OFF.
Cleaning
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the car can result in damage to the product.
− Never use hard, scratching or abrasive detergents or similar,
for cleaning the car and the remote control unit. This could
scratch the surface.
− If required, wipe the remote control unit and the car with a slightly dampened
cloth.
− Keep the car and the remote control unit in the original packaging, if possible, in
a dry room that is not too cold.

Car is not driving at all or too slowly.
− Is the battery control lamp illumina-
ted on the remote control unit when
it is switched on? If not, replace the
batteries in the remote control unit.
− Otherwise, replace the batteries in
the car.
The steering is obviously impaired.
− Distance to the car too large?
− Transmitter (remote control unit) or
receiver (car) covered up?
− Are you holding the antenna in the
direction of the car?
− Are there other remote-controlled
cars nearby?
− Additional possible sources of
interference are: High-voltage lines,
CB radio, computers, microwave
equipment, base stations of cordless
telephones, reinforced concrete .

Disposal
Disposal of packaging
Dispose of the packaging such that it is correctly sorted. Submit
cardboard and card to waste paper and foils to the recycling collection.
Product disposal
Dispose of the car and remote control unit in compliance with the regulations that
apply to your country.
Old devices are not permitted to be disposed of with household
waste!
If the product should no longer be usable, every consumer is legally
obligated to submit old devices separately from household
waste, e.g. to a collection centre of his/her municipality/district. This
ensures that old devices are recycled properly and negative effects
on the environment are avoided. That is why electrical devices are
identified with the symbol shown above.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries are not permitted to be
disposed of with household waste!
As a consumer, you are legally obligated to submit all batteries and
rechargeable batteries to a collection centre for your local municipality/
district or to retailers, regardless of whether they contain toxins or not, so
that they can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

Warranty conditions
Dear Customer,
The ALDI warranty offers you extensive benefits in addition to your statutory
rights:
Warranty period: 3 years from date of purchase.
6 months for wear parts and consumables under normal
and proper conditions of use (e.g. rechargeable batteries).
Costs: Free repair/exchange.
No transport costs.
ADVICE: Please contact our service hotline by phone, e-mail or fax
before sending in the device. This allows us to provide
support in the event of possible operator errors.
In order to make a claim under the warranty, please send us:
• the faulty item together with the original purchase receipt and the
completed warranty card.
• the faulty product with all components included in the packaging.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• Accident or unanticipated events (e.g. lightning, water, fire).
• Improper use or transport.
• Disregard of the safety and maintenance instructions.
• Other improper treatment or modification.
After the expiry of the warranty period, you still have the possibility to have
your product repaired at your own expense. If the repair or the estimate of
costs is not free of charge you will be informed accordingly in advance.
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights. The period of warranty can
only be extended in accordance with a legal standard. In countries where a
(compulsory) warranty and/or spare part storage and/or a system for compen-
sation are/is required by law, the statutory minimum conditions apply. In the
event that a product is received for repair, neither the service company nor the
seller will assume any liability for data or settings possibly stored on the prod-
uct by the customer.
