Intended purpose

This is an entertainment electronics device. The Bluetooth

speaker is intended for playing sound from audio devic-

es via Bluetooth or using the 0.14 inch TRS socket. The

speaker can be connected to your device together with

another speaker using TWS.

The device is designed for private home use. This device

must not be used for commercial purposes.

Do not make any changes or repairs. The manufacturer

is not liable for damage or malfunctions caused by im-

proper repairs or modifications. This is the sole responsi-

bility of the user.

Before using for the first time

• Remove all packing materials.

• Remove all protective films from the device.

• Check that the device is undamaged. A damaged

device must never be used.

Charging

~Because of the high power consumption, do not

charge the loudspeaker through a laptop / PC. Only

charge the loudspeaker via a USB power unit (5 V,

min. 1 A, not included in the items supplied).

~The device must not be covered while the battery is

charging.

~The device must only be charged in a dry environ-

ment.

TIP:

• When using a USB power unit (not included), comply

with its user instructions. The USB power unit must be

able to supply at least 1A output current.

• Charge the battery fully before using the device.

• The maximum battery capacity is reached after ap-

prox. 4 - 5 charging cycles.

• At a battery capacity of less than approx. 10 %, an

audio signal will sound once and the charging LED8

will be lit red until the device automatically switches

itself off.

• The charging time of an empty battery is approx.

2 - 2.5 hours. Playback is possible during the

charging process; however, this increases the

charging time.

1. Connect the Micro USB plug of the USB charger ca-

ble13 to the Micro USB port9 of the device.

2. Connect the USB-A plug of the USB charger ca-

ble13 to a USB power unit (not included). The

charging LED8 is lit red and extinguishes when the

battery is fully charged.

ings, in particular, the following words have the

Risk for babies and children

~Children must not play with packing material. Do not

allow children to play with plastic bags. There is a

risk of suffocation.

~This device is not designed to be used by people (in-

The ambient temperature should not be lower than

50°F or higher than 104°F. Please remember that

in a car the storage temperature may significantly

exceed 104° F.

~Because of the high power consumption, do not

charge the loudspeaker through a laptop / PC. Only

charge the loudspeaker via a USB power unit (5 V,

min. 1 A, not included in the items supplied).

~The battery may only be charged with the original

accessory (the USB charger cable).

Risk of material damage

If you notice any anything unusual happening (e.g.,

unusual noises, strange smells or smoke developing)

turn the device off immediately and remove all cables.

Do not use the device any longer.

~If the device is moved from a cold location to a

warm location, condensation may form in the de-

vice. Leave the device switched off for a few hours

while it becomes acclimatized.

Protect the device against damage, for example from:

- Drips and water splashes

- Heat, direct sunlight, and open flames (e.g., can-

dles)

- Knocks and similar actions

~Protect the cable against damage, for example from:

- sharp edges

- hot places

- clamping or crushing

~Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning

agents.

In order to avoid any hazards, do not make modifica-

tions to the device. Repairs must be carried out by a

specialist workshop or the Service Center.

Status of information:

Establishing a Bluetooth connection

TIP:

• The identification of the speaker is “SBLP5.0B1”.

• After switching on, the speaker automatically tries

to reconnect to the last paired device or to estab-

lish a new connection.

• Please observe that the process of establishing the

connection may vary slightly depending on the au-

dio device and the software used.

• The Bluetooth range is 33 ft.

• The speaker switches off if no Bluetooth connection

can be established within 10 minutes.

• With moderate volume settings, the speaker can be

used for a playback period of approx. 12hours

with the Bluetooth connection established.

• If you lend your speaker to someone else, in order

to protect your data and your privacy you should

disconnect the Bluetooth connection to your device

and delete it from the connection list on your smart-

phone.

2. Turn the speaker on using the button 6. An audio

signal sounds. The LED2 flashes white. The Bluetooth

identification of the device is sent.

3. Turn on the audio device (e.g., smartphone) and start

the Bluetooth connection. The audio device should

now receive the device identification “SBLP5.0B1”.

4. Establish a connection to the Bluetooth speaker on

the audio device. Both devices are now interconnect-

ed. The LED2 on the device flashes white slowly and

an audio signal sounds.

TIP:

audio devices may remember the ID of the speaker.

So a new connection might not be need to be established

manually while the Bluetooth function is activated.

5. Now start the playback of a music track on the audio

device. The sound is played back through the speak-

er7.

Connect two speakers

TIP:

• Playback by cable is only possible with one speaker.

• The distance between the speakers should not be

more than 33 ft.

• If you are using two speakers of type SBLP5.0B1

to-

gether with your smartphone, they can play the sound as

a pair of stereo speakers (True Wireless Stereo, TWS).

• If the audio device has previously been con-

nected with a speaker of type SBLP5.0B1,

please delete that connection from the list

of Bluetooth connections.

1. Switch on both speakers using the buttons 6. An

audio signal sounds and the LED2 is flashing white.

If one speaker is still connected to an audio device

(LED2 flashes slowly in white), briefly press the pair-

ing button 1 on this speaker. An audio signal

sounds

and the LED

2

flashes white.

2. Hold down the pairing button 

on one speaker un-

til an audio signal sounds. The two speakers are now

being paired with one another.

3. After a brief time, the LED2 on one of the speakers

flashes white, while on the other the LED flashes slow-

ly in white. These two paired speakers can be con-

nected to an audio device.

4. Turn on the audio device (e.g., smartphone) and start

the Bluetooth connection. The audio device should

now receive the device identification “SBLP5.0B1”.

5. Establish a connection to the speakers on the audio

device. If you are asked for a password, enter

“0000”. All three devices are now interconnected.

The list of Bluetooth connections on the audio device

displays the identification “SBLP5.0B1”. An audio

signal sounds. The speaker with the flashing LED2

plays the right audio channel, and the speaker with

the lit LED plays the left audio channel.

6. Now start the playback of a music track on the audio

device. The sound is played back through the speak-

ers.

TIP:

• Hold down the button 6 on one of the two paired

speakers to switch off both devices simultaneously.

• To unpair two paired speakers, hold down the pair-

ing button 1 on the speaker with the slowly flash-

ing white LED2 until an audio signal sounds.

Disconnecting a Bluetooth connection and

searching for a new device

If you want to connect another device to the speaker by

Bluetooth, proceed as follows:

1. The speaker is turned on and Bluetooth is activated.

2. Press the button 1 briefly. An audio signal sounds

and the operating-mode LED2 flashes. The ID of the

speaker is sent.

3. Proceed as described under “Establishing a Bluetooth

connection.”

Disconnecting a Bluetooth connection

In order to disconnect a Bluetooth connection, select one

of the following options:

• Press the button 6 until the speaker is switched off.

• Press the button 1 briefly. An audio signal sounds

and the operating-mode LED2 flashes.

• Plug a jack into the 0.14 inch TRS socket10 on the

speaker. The operating-mode LED2 is lit in green.

• The connection is also removed if the connected de-

vices are set up too far from each other or obstacles

interfere with the radio link.

Playback using a cable (Aux in)

TIP: Playback by cable has priority over the Bluetooth

connection. Any Bluetooth connection that has been set

up will be interrupted.

1. Plug the jack of the 0.14 inch TRS cable14 into the

headphone socket of the sound source (e.g. MP3

player, phone) and the 0.14 inch TRS socket10 on

the speaker.

2. Turn on the sound source.

3. Turn the speaker on using the button 6. The

LED2 is lit in green.

4. Start playback from the sound source. The sound is

played back through the speaker7.

5. Set the volume on the sound source to the maxi-

mum level and adjust the volume on the device us-

ing the buttons 3/5. The music track can only

be chosen at the sound source.

• Mute the device by pressing the button 4.

Cleaning / storing when not in

use

TIP:

• Disconnect all cables.

• Turn off the device using the button 6.

• Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth. Sol-

vents, spirits, thinners, etc., must not be used, as

they can damage the surface of the device.

• When not using the device, store it in a place

where neither high temperatures nor moisture can

affect it.

• Charge the battery before storing the device for a

prolonged period. Please note that if the device is

stored for too long, this may reduce the battery ca-

pacity. Avoid any extended discharge of the bat-

tery.

Disposal

This appliance must not be disposed of as household

garbage.

If the electrical appliance is no longer being used, it must

be handed over to the relevant local public waste author-

ities for disposal.

As a rule, these waste disposal authorities run special re-

ception units for electrical appliances (recycling centers,

materials recovery centers etc.).

Troubleshooting

If your Bluetooth speaker fails to function as required,

please try this checklist first. Perhaps there is only a mi-

nor problem, and you can solve it yourself.

Carga del aparato

~Debido al alto consume de corriente, no cargue el

altavoz en un portátil/PC. Cargue el altavoz a tra-

vés de una fuente de alimentación USB (5 V, mín.

1 A, no incluida en el paquete).

~El aparato no se debe cubrir durante la carga de la

batería.

~Se debe cargar el aparato únicamente en un entor-

SUGERENCIAS:

• Si se utiliza una fuente de alimentación USB (no in-

cluida en el paquete), tenga en cuenta lo que indica

el manual de instrucciones de la misma. La fuente de

alimentación USB debe tener la capacidad de pro-

veer al menos 1 A de corriente de salida.

Estado de las informaciones:

Establecer la conexión Bluetooth

SUGERENCIAS:

• El código de identificación del altavoz es

"SBLP5.0B1".

• Tras conectarlo, el altavoz intenta establecer de for-

ma automática una conexión con el último aparato

acoplado o establecer una nueva conexión.

• Tenga en cuenta que la conexión puede ser dife-

rente en función del reproductor y del software uti-

lizado en él.

• El área de alcance de Bluetooth es de 33 ft.

• El altavoz se desconecta si, tras 10 minutos, no

se ha establecido ninguna conexión Bluetooth.

• La duración de la batería en una conexión Blue-

tooth es de aprox. 12 horas de reproducción a un

volumen intermedio.

• En caso de que entregue el altavoz a otras perso-

nas, desconecte primero la conexión Bluetooth

del aparato y bórrela de la lista de conexiones de

su smartphone, si es necesario, para proteger su

privacidad y sus datos.

1. Si es necesario, desconecte el enchufe estéreo de

0.14 inch14 de la hembra10.

2. Encienda el altavoz con la tecla 6. Se escuchará

una señal acústica. El indicador LED2 parpadea en

blanco. Se envía el código de identificación para

Bluetooth del aparato.

3. Conecte el reproductor (p. ej., smartphone) e inicie la

conexión Bluetooth. El reproductor debería recibir el

código de identificación del aparato "SBLP5.0B1".

4. Establezca la conexión con el altavoz Bluetooth en

el reproductor. Ahora ambos aparatos están conec-

tados entre sí. El indicador LED2 en el aparato par-

padeará lentamente en blanco y se escuchará una

señal acústica.

SUGERENCIA: los reproductores suelen guardar el có-

digo de identificación del altavoz. Al establecer una

nueva conexión, se suprime el establecimiento manual

de otra conexión con la función de Bluetooth activada.

5. Ahora inicie la reproducción de una pista de música

en el reproductor. El sonido se transmite a través del

altavoz7.

Conectar/unir dos altavoces

SUGERENCIAS:

• Una reproducción a través de cable solamente es

posible con un solo altavoz.

• La distancia entre los altavoces no debería ser supe-

rior a 33 ft.

• Si utiliza dos altavoces del tipo SBLP5.0B1

junto

con su smartphone, estos pueden reproducir el sonido

como un par de altavoces estéreo (True Wireless Stereo,

TWS).

• Si el reproductor ya ha estado conectado

con un altavoz del tipo SBLP5.0B1, borre

esta conexión de la lista de conexiones

Bluetooth.

1. Encienda los dos altavoces con las teclas 6

Si hay un altavoz que siga conectado con un repro-

ductor (el LED2 parpadea lentamente en blanco),

pulse brevemente la tecla "pairing" 1 de ese alta-

voz. Suena una señal acústica

2. Presione prolongadamente la tecla "pairing" 1 de

un altavoz hasta que se emita una señal acústica

Ahora, los dos altavoces estarán acoplados entre sí.

3. Después de un breve instante, el indicador LED2 de

uno de los altavoces parpadeará en blanco, y el

LED del otro parpadeará lentamente en blanco. Este

par de altavoces acoplados puede conectarse con

un reproductor.

4. Conecte el reproductor (p. ej., un smartphone) e ini-

cie la conexión Bluetooth. El reproductor debería

recibir el código de identificación del aparato

"SBLP5.0B1".

5. Establezca la conexión con el altavoz en el repro-

ductor. Si se solicita una contraseña, introduzca

"0000". Ahora los tres aparatos están conectados

entre sí. En la lista de conexiones Bluetooth del

reproductor aparece el código de identificación

"SBLP5.0B1". Se escuchará una señal acústica. El

altavoz con el indicador LED2 parpadeante repro-

duce el canal derecho de sonido, el altavoz con el

LED iluminado reproduce el canal izquierdo de

sonido.

6. Ahora inicie la reproducción de una pista de música

en el reproductor. El sonido se transmite a través de

los altavoces.

SUGERENCIAS:

• Mantenga pulsada la tecla 6 de uno de los dos

altavoces acoplados para apagar los dos aparatos

al mismo tiempo.

• Para desacoplar un par de altavoces acoplados,

pulse la tecla "pairing" 1 del altavoz con el LED2

que parpadea lentamente en blanco hasta que sue-

ne una señal acústica.

Desconectar la conexión Bluetooth y

buscar un nuevo aparato

Si desea conectar otro aparato al altavoz a través de

Bluetooth, proceda del siguiente modo:

1. El altavoz está encendido y Bluetooth está activado.

2. Pulse brevemente la tecla 1. Suena una señal

acústica y el LED de modo de funcionamiento2 par-

padea. Se envía el código de identificación del alta-

voz.

3. Continúe tal y como se describe en "Establecer la

conexión Bluetooth".

Terminar la conexión Bluetooth

Para terminar la conexión Bluetooth, escoja una de las

siguientes posibilidades:

•Pulse la tecla 6 hasta que el altavoz esté apaga-

do.

• Pulse brevemente la tecla 1. Suena una señal

acústica y el LED de modo de funcionamiento2 par-

padea.

• Enchufe un conector en la hembra10 del altavoz.

El LED de funcionamiento2 se ilumina en verde.

• La conexión también se termina si los aparatos co-

nectados están demasiado alejados entre sí o si hay

obstáculos que perturben la conexión por radio.

Reproducción a través de cable (Aux in)

SUGERENCIA: la reproducción a través de cable tie-

ne prioridad frente a la conexión Bluetooth. Si es el

caso, la conexión Bluetooth existente se interrumpe.

1. Enchufe el conector del cable estéreo de

0.14inch14 a la hembra de los auriculares de

la fuente del sonido (p. ej. reproductor de MP3,

teléfono) y a la hembra10 al altavoz.

2. Encienda la fuente del sonido.

3. Encienda el altavoz con la tecla 6. El indica-

dor LED2 se ilumina en verde.

4. Inicie la reproducción en la fuente del sonido. El

sonido se transmite a través del altavoz7.

5. Ajuste el volumen al máximo en la fuente del

sonido y regule el volumen en el aparato

mediante las teclas 3/5. Ahora solo puede

seleccionarse una canción a través de la fuente

del sonido.

• Para silenciar pulse la tecla 4.

Limpieza / almacenamiento

SUGERENCIAS:

• Desenchufe todos los cables.

• Apague el aparato con la tecla 6.

• Limpie el aparato con un paño ligeramente hume-

decido. No deben emplearse disolventes, alcohol

ni diluciones, ya que pueden dañar la superficie

del aparato.

• Cuando no utilice el aparato, almacénelo en un

lugar en el que ni el calor fuerte ni la humedad

puedan actuar sobre el mismo.

• Recargue la batería del aparato antes de almace-

narlo durante un largo periodo de tiempo. Tenga

en cuenta que la capacidad de la batería puede

disminuir si el aparato permanece almacenado

durante mucho tiempo. Evite que la batería se

descargue por completo.

Eliminación

Este aparato no se debe desechar con la basura domés-

tica normal.

Si el aparato eléctrico ya no es necesario, debe entre-

garse a las correspondientes autoridades públicas loca-

les de residuos para su eliminación.

Por regla general, estas autoridades de eliminación de
