Remote sensor for SonoHCA
Mounting the Remote Sensor
For each version of heat cost allocator, it is
possible to plug the connector of the remote
sensor into an interface inside the heat cost
allocator.
The remote sensor will be automatically
detected by the heat cost allocator.
Once equipped with a remote sensor, the
heat cost allocator will only work for an
application with remote sensor.
Remote sensor version with 2 m or 5 m cable.
The cable includes a stopper-knot.
Figure 1:
• Return the heat cost allocator and plug the
connector of the re-mote sensor into the
interface inside the heat cost allocator.
Figure 2:
• Insert the remote sensor cable into the
groove provided up to the slot of housing.
• Place the stopper-knot inside the housing.
The knot will avoid any traction on the
connector.
Proceed to the commissioning of the heat cost
allocator on the aluminium back plate. Take care
not to stick the cable.
Remark concerning the recognition of the
remote sensor:
Once heat cost allocator is fixed with/against
the aluminium back plate, the LCD-display
will show the following message during few
seconds:
• The index FF indicates that the heat cost
allocator has recognized the remote sensor.
• If the remote sensor is not detected by the
device, the index -- will be displayed. The
index -- indicates also a standard device with
a compact sensor. If the remote sensor is not
recognized, check the plug connector in the
heat cost allocator.
Once heat cost allocator has recognized the
remote sensor, push the seal pre-installed by
Danfoss in the slot of the housing. Then press
until the seal clicks into the aluminium back
plate.
Respect the color code of the radiator sensor
and the remote sensor:
• Heat cost allocator SonoHCA: the
radiator sensor and the remote sensor are
manufactured with a white or yellow color.
Once remote sensor was installed and if it is
disconnected or cut of the heat cost allocator,
an error message (Err. 2) will be displayed.
Montage de la sonde à distance
Pour chaque modèle de répartiteur, il est
possible d’enficher le connecteur de la sonde
à distance dans une interface à l’intérieur du
répartiteur.
La sonde à distance sera automatiquement
reconnue par le répartiteur lors du montage.
Une fois équipé d’une sonde à distance, le
répartiteur de frais de chauffage ne pourra
fonctionner que pour une application avec
sonde à distance.
La longueur du câble de la sonde à distance est
de 2 mètres ou 5 mètres. Le câble comporte un
nœud d’arrêt.

• Retourner le répartiteur et enficher le
connecteur de la sonde à distance dans
l’interface à l’intérieur du répartiteur.

• Fixer le câble de la sonde à distance dans la
gorge prévue jusqu’à la rainure du boîtier.
• Placer le nœud d’arrêt à l’intérieur du boîtier.
Le nœud évitera toutes tractions sur le
connecteur.
Procéder à l’installation du répartiteur sur le rail
en s’assurant de ne pas coincer le câble.
Remarque concernant la reconnaissance de
la sonde à distance:
Dès que le répartiteur sera fixé sur le rail en
aluminium, le message suivant sera affiché un
court instant:
• The index FF indicates that the heat cost
allocator has recognized the remote sensor.
• If the remote sensor is not detected by the
device, the index -- will be displayed. The
index -- indicates also a standard device with
a compact sensor. If the remote sensor is not
recognized, check the plug connector in the
heat cost allocator.
Dès que le répartiteur a reconnu la sonde à
distance, pousser le plomb pré-installé dans
l’ouverture du boîtier. Presser jusqu’à l’arrêt sur
le rail en alu-minium.
Respect the color code of the radiator sensor

• Répartiteur SonoHCA: Couleur blanche
ou Jaune pour sonde radiateur et sonde à
distance.
Une fois installé si la sonde est coupée, le
message d’erreur (Err. 2) apparait à l’écran.
Montage des Fernfühlers
Bei jedem Verteilermodell ist es möglich, den
Fernfühler an einer Schnittstelle im Inneren des
Verteilers aufzustecken.
Der Fernfühler wird vom Verteiler nach der
Montage automatisch erkannt.
Sobald der elektronische
Heizkostenverteiler mit einem Fernfühler
ausgestattet ist, kann er nur noch für eine
Anwendung mit Fernfühler verwendet
werden.
Die Kabellänge des Fernfühlers beträgt 2 m oder
5 m. Das Kabel enthält einen Stoppknoten.

• Drehen Sie den Heizkostenverteiler um
und verbinden sie den Fernfühleranschluss
mit der Schnittstelle im Inneren des
Heizkostenverteilers
Bild 2:
• Befestigen Sie das Kabel des Fernfühlers an
der vorgesehenen Rille bis zur Gehäusenut.
• Setzen Sie den Stoppknoten im Inneren des
Gehäuses. Der Knoten wird jeden Zug auf die
Steckverbindung vermeiden.
Bringen Sie nun den Heizkostenverteiler an der
Schiene an und achten Sie darauf, das Kabel
nicht einzuklemmen.
Bemerkung bezüglich der Erkennung des
Fernfühlers:
Sobald der Heizkostenverteiler auf der
Aluminiumschiene befestigt ist, erscheint auf
der Anzeige des Heizkostenverteilers folgende
Meldung für eine kurze Augenblick:
• Der Index FF zeigt an, dass der
Heizkostenverteiler den Fernfühler erkannt hat.
• Der Index -- zeigt an, dass der
Heizkostenverteiler mit einem kompakten
integrierten HK-Fühler funktioniert oder
dass er den Fernfühler nicht erkannt hat.
Wenn der Fernfühler nicht erkannt wird,
überprüfen Sie den Steckverbindung in den
Heizkostenverteiler.
Sobald der Heizkostenverteiler den Fernfühler
erkannt hat, die durch Danfoss vorinstallierte
Plombe durch die Gehäuseöffnung
schieben. Solange drücken, bis sie gegen das
Aluminiumteil stösst.
Beachten Sie den Farbcode des
Heizkostenverteilers und des Fernfühlers:
• Heizkostenverteiler SonoHCA: Weiss oder
gelb für Verteiler und Fernfühler.
Eine Fehlermeldung (Err. 2) erscheint auf dem
Display, wenn der Fernfühler nicht mehr mit
dem Heizkostenverteiler verbunden ist.
