Button Explanation
Key
Description
Callers List key
Accesses the last 200 calls received.
Conference key
Begins a conference call with the active call.
Transfer key
Transfers the active call to another number.
Line 1, Line 2, Line 3 keys
Call Appearance keys connect you to a line or call. Additional lines (up to 6 in
total) can be located on the programmable keys (top section).
Speaker key
Transfers the active call to the speaker, allowing hands-free use of the phone.
Switches between handset/headset mode and speaker depending on audio mode
setting.
Hold key
Places an active call on hold. To retrieve a held call, press the call appearance
button beside the light that is flashing.
Redial key
Redials up to 100 previously dialed numbers. Pressing the Redial key twice redials
the last dialed number.
Goodbye key
Ends an active call. The Goodbye key also exits an open list, such as the Options
List, without saving changes.
Volume Control keys
Adjusts the volume for the handset, headset, ringer, and hands free speaker.
Up, Down, Right, Left
Arrow Navigation keys
Up and Down Arrow keys let you let you scroll through menu and messages on the
screen. Up and Down Arrow keys lets you view different line/call appearances.
While in the Options List, these keys allow you to exit or enter the current option.
When editing entries, Left Arrow erases the character; and Right Arrow sets the
option.
Options key
Accesses services and options to customize your phone. Your System
Administrator may have already customized some of your settings.
Directory key
Accesses the Directory on the phone. The Directory List is your personal phone
book, conveniently stored within your phone. You can enter up to 200 entries into
the Directory by adding them manually, or by saving the number and name from
other lists stored on your phone.
Save key
Allows you to save entries when storing numbers and names in Directory. Also
allows you to save Option settings when using the programmable keys.
Delete key
Allows you to remove entries from the Redial, Directory, or Callers Lists.

Mute Key
Mutes the handset, headset, or speakerphone.

Auto Answer (INTERCOM)
To Intercom between phones, dial *99 followed by extension number
Note:
The receiving phone automatically plays a warning tone when it receives an incoming intercom call. It also mutes the
microphone. If the intercom call comes into the phone while an active call is already present, the phone puts the active call
on hold and answers the intercom call.

Call Parking (PARKING)
To park the call so it can be picked up from any phone
• Press the hard key labeled Transfer
• Dial feature code 700 and press soft key labeled DIAL
• Listen for and remember announced slot and press Transfer
• To pickup parked call from any phone dial extension 70x with x being replaced by announced slot and press soft key
labeled DIAL

Phone Reboot
Periodically, the phone may require a reboot. Reasons for this include accepting a new configuration or software upgrade.
To reboot the phone:
Unplug the power supply, wait two seconds and then plug in the power supply again.
Note:
The reboot process is complete when the idle display is shown with the time and your extension.
