THE USER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE
OTHER RISKS!!!
Despite correct use and compliance with all safety instructions, there will still be other risks due to the
construction, depending on use. Danger from electricity if appropriate power cable is not used. Damage
that can involve risk from conductive parts or mixer itself. Danger due to rotating and moving parts or
drum. Particularly if instructions for operation, maintenance and repair are not followed. Such risks can
be minimised if the instructions under „Safety instructions“ and „Correct use“ are followed.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION! DANGER!
IMPORTANT! DISCONNECT FROM MAINS ELECTRICITY BEFORE:
Moving and transport.
Cleaning, maintenance and repair.
Opening motor housing.
READ THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND ENSURE YOU FOLLOW THEM. PROTECT
YOURSELF AND OTHERS AGAINST POSSIBLE RISK. Within the mixer’s intended USE ALL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS must be followed.

MECHANICAL SAFETY DEVICES
1. This mixer is designed to prevent getting body parts trapped or burned during the following
procedures:
When filling and discharging.
When drum is rotating when full or empty.
When switching motor off.
When transporting or lifting mixer with crane. No mixer components represent danger when
handling.
All bolts are secured using lock nuts (DIN 985) with washers.
2. Motor housing and plug socket are secured with steel bars welded onto housing. Housing is also
protected against falling objects and impact.
3. Tipping mechanism is designed to always lock in „locked“ position. This guarantees safe operation
(mortar production, maintenance, discharging, transport). If the drum stops at any other position,
the mechanism always ensures it is moved to locked position.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAN CAUSE DEATH!
NB:
Protection insulated machine. Protection class II can only be maintained if original insulating
parts are used for repairs and insulation distances are not changed.
Power supply cable shall comply with IEC 245-4:1980 (DIN 57 282) with designation H 07 RN-F or
equivalent types. Cable cross-section shall be min. 3x1.5mm
2
up to max. 25 m length. Cable cross-
section from this length min. 3x2.5 mm
2
. Cable must be resistant under hard conditions, protected
against mechanical failure and fully protected against contact with water. Cable must always be checked
before use and fulfill the first two points in full. Never use defective cables.
Arrange cable to avoid it getting trapped or exposed to violent pulling and ensure that short circuiting
will not occur at sockets due to foreign objects of earth. Do not use temporary electrical connections.
Protective measures must never be bypassed or deactivated in any other way. Repairs to electrical
connections may only be performed by an electrician who must comply with the aforementioned norms.
Repairs to electrical parts may only be performed by the manufacturer or an appointed representative.

MAINTENANCE
This mixer is designed for minimum maintenance. Drum and drive shaft have ball-bearings with
permanent lubrication and are sealed against water penetration. NEVER LUBRICATE THE GEAR
COLLAR!!! To maintain in top condition, treat mixer as described in the sections on safety and
function, transport and storage.
To extend service lifetime and problem-free operation, we recommend the following: Set mixer drum in
position no. 4 (see transport instructions) after cleaning. Store mixer in a dry and well-ventilated place.
If mixer is not to be used for an extended period, slacken drive belt as follows: Slacken screws and
carefully lift drive housing approx. 2 mm. When slackening drive belt, avoid lifting drive housing too
much, as the drive belt can fall off. Should this occur, lift housing up and replace belt. Check belt is
correctly positioned. If not, it can cause damage.
REPAIRS
Disconnect from mains electricity before cleaning.
Switch machine off and disconnect from mains electricity. Machine must not run when repairs are
being performed. All covers and housing removed for repair MUST be replaced correctly after repairs
are completed. Repairs to electrical parts must be performed by the manufacturer or an appointed
representative. Use original spare parts only.
