CARE AND MAINTENANCE
STAINLESS STEEL
There are many stainless steel cleaners available. Always use the mildest cleaning
procedure first, scrubbing in the direction of the grain.
To touch up noticeable scratches in the stainless steel, sand very lightly with dry 100 grit
emery paper in the direction of the grain.
Grease specks can gather and bake onto the surfaces of the stainless steel, giving the
appearance of rust. For removal, use an abrasive pad with a stainless steel cleaner.
FOOD SAFETY
Please follow these four steps to keep food safe from harmful bacteria.
1. Clean: Wash hands, utensils, and surfaces with hot soapy water before and after
handling raw meat and poultry.
2. Separate: Separate raw meats and poultry from ready-to-eat foods to avoid cross
contamination. Use a clean platter and utensils when removing cooked foods.
3. Cook: Cook meat and poultry thoroughly to kill bacteria. Use a thermometer to
ensure proper internal food temperatures.
4. Chill: Refrigerate prepared foods and leftovers promptly.
