Introduction
Please follow these instructions to replace the Ingenico iPP350 card reader cable to
the new generation cable; total upgrade time per unit is approximately 2 minutes.
Important
Make sure that you have disconnected the power cord from com port 5 under the unit
before you start.
Step By Step Installation Instructions
Please follow these instruction to change your card reader cable.
1. Disconnect the card reader cable from the com port under the POS (Till) unit first
2. Once disconnected the card reader will lose power, it is now safe to carry on
3. New Ingenico card reader
4. Turn the card reader over

5. Remove the two screws to release the cable security cover
Keep the 2 screws for re fixing once the new cable is in place
6. Lift and Remove the cable security cover
a. After removing discard cable module cover
7. Unit should now look like this

8. Remove new generation cable from bag ready for installation
9. Insert the new generation cable
10. Push down completely and lock down the hinged handle and screw in the 2 small
screws to make the cable more secure
11. Cable swap out complete
Push Down
Re-screw in
the 2 small
screws to
ensure the
cable is even
more secure

12. Please reconnect the card reader cable under the POS (Till) unit back in to com port
5.
13. Once connected the card reader should power back on
14. Finish
