INTRODUCTION

The Total Hand Compression Massager soothes and restores hands like no other

massager on the market. Simply place your entire hand in the soft, cloth-lined

chamber and turn it on. Air pockets inﬂate and deﬂate to squeeze away aches and

stress. Add optional heat for more soothing relief.

OPERATION

1. Place the Total Hand Compression Massager on a ﬂat, level surface.

2. Insert the AC adapter (charger) into the back on the device.

3. Plug the AC adapter (charger) into an AC outlet.

4. Allow the device to charge fully before ﬁrst use (approx. 3 to 3.5 hours maximum).

5. Disconnect the charger when ready to use.

6. Insert one hand into the cloth-lined chamber. NOTE: Be sure to remove any sharp

jewelry. Do not operate if you have sharp ﬁngernails.

7. Use your other hand to press the Power button and adjust the settings as

desired. NOTE: The Total Hand Compression Massager delivers a unique massage

experience. We recommend using the lowest intensity setting to start with, and

gradually increasing the intensity and run time as you become better acquainted

with this device.

Power button: Press this button to turn the device ON or OFF. NOTE: The default

setting is “Refresh” mode, low intensity.

Heating button: Press once to turn ON the optional soothing heat. Press a second

time to turn the heat OFF.

Mode button: Press this button to cycle through the 3 diﬀerent massage modes.

NOTE: A corresponding LED light will illuminate to show which Mode is currently

selected.

Intensity button: Press this button to cycle through the 3 diﬀerent intensity levels

(Low, Medium or High). NOTE: A corresponding LED light will illuminate to show which

intensity level is currently selected.

Timer button: Press this button to choose when the massager will shut oﬀ

automatically (in 5, 10 or 15 minutes).

Air-release valve: If the massage is too strong, or if you wish to end the massage early,

rotate the Air-release valve 90° in the direction marked to release the air and remove

your hand.

TROUBLESHOOTING

In the unlikely event of a malfunction, please follow these steps:

1. DO NOT attempt to open or repair the device yourself. There are no user-serviceable

parts.

2. Turn OFF the power and unplug the device from the AC outlet.

3. Allow the device to cool oﬀ for several minutes.

4. Connect the power cable and allow the device to fully charge (up to 3.5 hours

maximum).

5. Resume operation as described above.

6. If the problem persists, contact Sharper Image Customer Service.

and well-ventilated location.

• Do not put any foreign objects into the device.

• Do not allow this device to come into contact with water or any other liquid.

• Use only the charging cable that came with is device.

• Do not attempt to open, modify or repair this device. There are no user-serviceable

parts.

• Do not use this device for anything other than its intended purpose.

• Do not use this device if the power cable appears frayed or damaged. Contact

Sharper Image Customer Service immediately.

• Do not use this device if you are under the inﬂuence of drugs or alcohol, or if you

are not feeling well.

• To avoid overheating, do not use this device more than 15 minutes consecutively.

• Do not use this device when you are wet.

• Consult your doctor before using any at-home massage device.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Do not use this device in a very humid environment, such as a bathroom.

• Do not use this device immediately after there has been a sharp change in the

environmental temperature.

• Do not use this device in an environment where there is a lot of dust or corrosive

gases.

NOT FOR USE BY:

• People with contagious skin conditions.

• People with osteoporosis.

• People with heart disease or an electronic medical implant (i.e., a pacemaker).

using this device.

• Do not pull out the power cable by holding the wire. Always grasp the plug when

disconnecting this device.

• No not sit on or step on this device.

• Do not use this device in damp areas. Avoid ﬁre and water.

• This device is intended for household use only. DO NOT use outdoors.
