Air Pump Outlet
Verify that the power to the pump is turned off.
Remove the hose from the air pump outlet.

Brass Fitting
Black Valve
Remove the brass fitting and black valve from the
air pump outlet.
IIf the brass fitting cannot be removed, pull out
the black valve using pliers.

Clamps
Using a tube cutter, cut the vent hose 6–8" from
the end of the hose.
Attach the check valve assembly to the vent hose
and the hose using the grease and two of the
loose clamps provided.
IVerify that the valve direction is oriented to
flow away from the air pump using the arrow
on the vent hose as a guide.
Attach the hose to the air pump outlet using two of
the loose clamps provided.
Secure the vent hose from the air pump outlet to
the through-the-hull fitting to prevent any dips in
the hose, which can restrict airflow.
