Dear TerraTec-Customer,

please click the START Button and choose “RUN…”. Here you have to type ”regedt32” for the registry

editor.

Important: Call up ”regedt32” and not “regedit”.

Please note that you do the changes in the Registry on your own risk !

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ENUM\PCI:

In the menu, select „Security“ and then „Permissions...“ A new window will apear:

Mark the entry „SYSTEM“ and make sure that in the frame „Permissions“ the options “Full Control” and

“Read” are both marked with Allow. Now click on “Advanced…” to open the window Acces Control

Settings for PCI.

In the window “Acces Control Settings for PCI”, make sure that the option “Allow inheritable permissions

from parent to propagate to this object” is NOT marked. When you remove the check this window will

come up:

Click on “Copy” like suggested.

The option „Reset permissions on all child objects and enable propagation of inheritable permissions.“

You can now press OK.

Mark once again the entry SYSTEM and control in the frame “Permissions” that Full Control and Read are

both set at “Allow”.

You can now close the Registry Editor and install the drivers as usual. (Control Panel / System / Hardware

/Device Manager).
