4 Internal Hardware Fault Charging üPower cycle unit (max 3 times).as Return unit if fault persists.
12 Voltage Check Fault Charging üPower cycle unit (max 3 times).as Return unit if fault persists.
13 Closed/Welded Contact Charging üPower cycle unit (max 3 times).as Return unit if fault persists.
Fault LED Flashing DANGER Hazardous voltage. Will cause death or serious injury.
Turn off power to this equipment before working inside.
1Charge Current Interrupting Device (CCID) Fault - Immediate, when
contact closes Charging üPower Cycleas can recover nuisance faults.
2Charge Current Interrupting Device (CCID) Fault - Non-Immediate
while charging. Charging üAuto-recovery, will result in Fault # 1 if condition persists.
5dPE disconnected Charging üPower down, check wiring for Ground disconnections.
6 Cable Over Temperature Fault Charging üConfirm EV current is less than or equal to EV cable capacity.
7 EV Interface Fault Charging üDisconnect charging cable and reconnect to vehicle. If fault persists, power
cycle unit.
8dBad Amp Adjustment Switch position Charging ü
Confirm Amp Adjustment switch is in the correct position and does not exceed
maximum amps setting (max. setting for UL units: #4 - 40A unit, #5 - 48A unit; IEC
max. setting: #4 - 32A).
9dOver Temperature Fault Charging üConfirm current drawn does not exceed unit derating value. Power down unit,
wait 15 min and power up unit.
10dLine Over voltage condition Charging üPower unit down. Confirm Input line voltage is less than maximum operating
voltage before powering unit back on.
11dLine Under voltage condition Charging üDisconnect EV. Confirm Input line voltage is higher than minimum operating
voltage. Power cycleas, if fault continues to persist.
14 Hardwired Remote Inhibit Charging üPower cycleas to recover. If conditions persists, call Customer Service.
15 Hatch Lock Fault (IEC units ONLY) Charging ü
Detach charging cable from EVSE and reconnect. Power cycleas if fault persists.
Replace unit If the cable remains locked: Power the unit down (consider the five
safety rules seen in the product manual), check manual override (red lever on
socket unit) and bring it to vertical position.
16dOver current Fault Charging üConfirm Amp Adjustment switch is correctly adjusted, confirm the EV draws less
than derated amps.
17dOver current pickup Charging Confirm Amp Adjustment derated switch is correctly adjusted, confirm the EV
draws less than derated amps.

a Power cycle the unit by turning the unit OFF and back ON.
s Touch sensitive button can be pressed once to clear all non-recoverable faults if lock LED is turned off. If any fault persists, call Tech Support and open a case.
d The services of a professional electrian may be required to resolve this issue.
f Self-recoverable is an issue that the unit will recover from itself over time.
g Recoverable with user intervention is an issue that may require the user to perform functions listed in the Action column.
h Non-recoverable is an issue from which the unit will require calling Technical Support to open a case and return of the unit.
Note: Validate fault type with VersiCloud Maintenance page by downloading fault type report .

Troubleshooting Steps
Step 1 - Determine the charger state (does the charger have power, is plugged into a
vehicle, or currently charging).
Step 2 - Observe the HMI and what LED lights are lit. Match the LED light display to the
appropriate LED Light Display column.
Step 3 - Observe what function is affected/not working.
Step 4 - Perform the action(s) necessary to clear/resolve the charger’s behavior.
