• Toactivatethekeypadprogrammingmode,enterthe[INSTALLER’sPIN][*][0][1]
[#].Informationmaybeenteredintothekeypadintheformofletters(upperand
lowercase),numbers(0–9),and22specialsymbols.Allcharactersaredisplayed
in the order: upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special symbols. The
[Space]characterprecedestheletterA.
• ToenteraLabel,usethe[2]keytoscrollthroughthecharactersuntilyoureachthe
desiredcharacter.Ifyouscrollpastthedesiredcharacter,the[8]keymaybeused
toscrollbackwards.NOTE:ThespacecharacterisbeforetheAcharacter(When
Aisdisplayed,press[8]tocreateaspace).
• Whenthedesiredcharacterisdisplayed,pressthe[6]keytomovethecursorto
thenextcharacterposition.The[4]keymovesthecursortotheleft.
• Whenallcharactershavebeenentered,pressthe[#]keytoenterthemessage
andmovetothenextmessageposition.
• Usethe[0]keytomovebackwardthroughthemessages.
• To change the keypad address, scroll through the messages until the keypad
displays: Keypad Address thenchangethevaluebypressing[2](up)or[8](down).

NOTE:Ifyoumovetothenextmessageusing[5]insteadofthe[#]key,youwill
lose any changes you made!
Notes on keypad addresses:
Upto3keypadscanbeusedinasystem.Whenusing2or3keypadsinasystem,
one of the keypads MUST be set to address 2 and the second one should be
settoavaluebetween1–7.Donotsetthistoaddress8asthisaddressusesa
differentprotocol.Ifathirdkeypadisused,itsIDmustalsobesettoauniquevalue
between1and7.
The message order is:
