Notes:
- If the freezer is provided with a flap, is it possible to
maximize the storage volume by removing the flap (by
bending it).
- All shelves and door trays are removable.
- Freezer wire shelf can be place in two positions:
In the middle for optimal energy consumption and
food preservation
Upper position (recommended for freezing fresh food)
- The internal temperatures of the appliance may be
affected by the ambient temperature, frequency of door
opening, as well as location of the appliance.
Temperature setting should take into consideration
these factors.
- Unless otherwise specified the appliance accessories are
not dishwasher safe.
HOW TO START THE APPLIANCE
After plugging the appliance to the mains, it starts the
operation automatically.
After starting the appliance, wait at least 4-6 hours before
placing food into the appliance.
The indicator LEDs on the control panel light up for
approximately 1 second, and after initialization process,
temperature setpoint is displayed.
Note: If food is placed in the refrigerator before the
appliance has cooled completely, it may deteriorate.
FAN
The fan improves temperature distribution inside the
refrigerator compartment, allowing better preservation
of stored food.
By default, the fan is switched on.
It is advisable to keep the fan switched on, so that the "6th
Sense"/ "Green Intelligence" function can work properly
and also when the ambient air temperature is above 27 ÷
28°C or if you notice drops of water on the glass shelves
or in sever humidity conditions.
Please note that when the fan is switched on it will not
continuously work.
The fan will start/stop working depending on the
temperature and/or humidity level inside the fridge. It is
therefore absolutely normal if the fan does not move even
if the fan is switched on.
Note:
Do not obstruct the air intake area with food items.
To guarantee the right performance at lower ambient
temperature (colder than 18°C) and to minimize Energy
Consumption, turn off the fan.
To turn off the fan press the button (7a).
If the appliance has the fan it can be equipped with the
antibacterial filter. Remove it from the box found in the
crisper drawer (item 14) and insert into the cover of fan
(item 7b).
The replacement procedure is attached with the filter.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL PANEL
A. Indicator LEDs to display the current temperature
setpoint or the Fast Cool function
B. Pushbutton for Temperature setting (short pressure) or
Fast Cool activation (long pressure – 3 sec.)
TEMPERATURE SETTING
Temperature setting pushbutton on the control panel allows
to set desired temperature level, from warmest to coldest.
At each short pressure of the pushbutton, the temperature
setpoint will change (cyclically).
The temperature setting will impact both the refrigerator and
the freezer temperature at the same time.
At first plug-in of appliance, the factory temperature setpoint
is set (middle temperature).
Following table shows setpoints level:
Legend: Led ON Led OFF
FUNCTIONS
Fast Cool
The use of the Fast Cool function is recommended:
- to increase the cooling speed of the refrigerator
compartment when placing a very high quantity of food
within it,
- to maximize the freezing capacity of the freezer
compartment: for this reason you should activate the
Fast Cool function before placing fresh food to be
frozen in the freezer compartment.
To activate the Fast Cool function, press and hold for 3
seconds the pushbutton on the control panel: all the 3
LEDs on the control panel will turn on.
The function is automatically deactivated after:
- 28 hours for appliances with sensor cover (11)
- 48 hours for appliances without sensor cover (11)
The function can be manually deactivated by pressing
and holding the same pushbutton on the control panel
for 3 seconds.
/ "6th Sense" / "Green Intelligence"
The "6th Sense "/ "Green Intelligence" function is
automatically activated when:
• a large amount of food is loaded into the refrigerator
and/or freezer
• the refrigerator and/or freezer door is left open for a
long time
• a prolonged power failure takes place, causing the
internal temperature of the appliance to increase to
values that cannot guarantee safe storage of food.
ECO GREEN (depending on the model)
This function gives best food preservation performance
with the smallest energy consumption possible if there is
a lower amount of food to be preserved in the appliance
(around 5-10% less in comparison with the normal
settings – middle temperature).
When ECO GREEN function is activated only these
compartments should be used in order to have the best
food preservation:
- 2"eco green" areas in the fridge ( indicated by green
stickers)
- 1"eco green" area for storing frozen food (item 4) in
freezer compartment - below the shelf (located on the
lower position).
To active the Eco Green function press the pushbutton
on the control panel to choose the mid-high
temperature, as showed here below:
FREEZING FRESH FOOD
Before placing fresh food to be frozen in the freezer
compartment you should activate the Fast Cool function.
Place the fresh food to be frozen on the freezer
compartment wire shelf.
Avoid direct contact with already frozen food. To freeze the
quantity of food shown on the rating plate, move the freezer
wire shelf to the upper position.
- For appliances with sensor cover (11), place the fresh food
just after activation of Fast Cool. After 28h from activation,
function will turn off automatically.
- For appliances without sensor cover (11), place the fresh
food 24h after activation of Fast Cool. After 48h from
activation, function will turn off automatically.
