Handset is defective/does not work - Would need to narrow down statement to exactly what customer
means by defective/does not work.
1. Check to make sure they can use the phone in speakerphone mode.
2. Make sure handset cord is securely plugged into the base.
3. Try increasing the volume.
4. Replace handset cord.
5. Reset telephone by unplugging and removing any installed batteries.
Dials wrong number even though caller ID says dialing correct number.
1. Check installation of unit.
2. If using both lines - Isolate each line and make a test call.
3. Contact telephone service provider.
Display no longer works
1. Make sure the power adapter is plugged in all the way.
2. Reset phone by unplugging ac adapter and line cords.
Says it’s battery operated -
1. This phone requires the supplied ac adapter to use. If there is a power failure the phone will have
minimal functionality. The phone uses power from the telephone line to make and receive calls on Line
1 using only the handset and dialing keys. Speakerphone will not work.
One line stopped longer working.
1. Need to determine installation configuration. Are you using 1 two-line jack or 2 one-line jacks?
2. Depending on above answer would start with testing the line cords to rule that out.
3. Next isolate if a problem with wiring or jack by testing another phone is possible using the jack.
