Camscura WiFi / Quick Start Guide
Set up for Local Viewing (Phone must be no more than 150 feet from Camera) This process may take up to 5-10 minutes.
Charging
Connect the included USB
cable to a power source
and charge for 4 hours.
Open Configure WiFi Settings
Open the “Camscura WIFI”
application. Access the menu
by clicking the gear icon next to
the camera’s name; and select
“Configure WiFi setting”

Insert the Micro SD Card
Power on the camera and
Insert your MicroSD Card.
Gold contacts on SD card
must face upwards.
Connect to your WiFi Network
Choose your WiFi network
(SSID) and enter your Wifi
network password. Then, click
“Ok.”
Add the Camera in the App
Open the “Camscura WIFI”
application. Select “Add New
Cam”; the camera’s ID will
appear automatically. Press Ok
and now your camera is now
Online.
Download the App
Go to the Play Store (on
Android) or the Apple
App Store, search for and
install the “Camscura
WIFI” application.
Wait for the Camera to Reboot
The camera will reboot and within
two minutes will come back on-
line. The camera’s indicator light
will switch from orange to green
when is successfully connected to
your network.
Connect to Camera’s WiFi
Open the WiFi settings
on your smart device.
Enable WiFi to connect
to the camera. (Look for
a network that starts with
Wi-FiCam).

Congratulations! Your camera
is now ready for Local Viewing!
Additional Steps to Enable Remote Viewing (allows viewing from anywhere)
After completing the steps for Local Viewing above, you can now connect the camera to a Wireless Network. This will allow you to view the camera remotely from anywhere.
Troubleshooting
Can’t locate your Camscura WiFi in your smart device WiFi menu?
Use a paperclip to press the mode button (located on the back of
the device) until the LED Status Light switches to a Solid Orange.
Now follow steps in this user guide for setting up the camera for a
Local Viewing.
My Camscura WiFi isn’t recording any video.
Make sure the microSD card was inserted properly with gold
contacts facing upwards.
You may also need to format the SD card on your PC. For help
