DJ-808 Ver. 1.05 Additional Function
This document explains the added functionality for the DJ-808 version 1.05.
Please read this in conjunction with the Startup Guide and Owner’s Manual (PDF).
Adjusting the Performance Pad Sensitivity (System Setting)
1. While holding down the [PANEL] button, press the [POWER] switch to turn on the power.
The DJ-808 is in system setting mode, and the [START/STOP] button of the TR-S section is blinking.
2. Press the performance pad whose sensitivity you want to adjust.
The pad you press is lit red.
3. Use the [VALUE] knob to change the value of the setting.
Display (Value) Explanation

The lower the value, the greater the sensitivity.
The factory setting is 50.
* If the sensitivity is too great, vibrations of the DJ-808 itself might make the pad operate unintendedly.
Take care not to make the sensitivity excessive.
4. When you’ve nished making settings, press the blinking [START/STOP] button.
The display shows “
U-ait
,” and after a while returns to the normal state.
