Nanoflex pickup with shielded cable and 2.5mm plug
Control unit with holder and 6.3mm output jack
3-Volt battery
1. Loosen strings, so that the bridge can be raised a few millimeters easily.
2. Do not alter the pickup. Lift bridge up. Place pickup between bridge feet and body so that the cable
points toward the tailpiece of the instrument (see Fig. 1).
3. The pickups has to be centered under the feet to guarantee optimized sound transfer. Take care,
that there is no unevenness/roughness (dirt, dust, concavities on top of instrument or bottom of
bridge).
4. Tune your instrument.
5. Install the control unit on an suitable place between chinrest holder and F-holes on the left side of
your instrument. The installation principle is the same as on your chinrest holder.
6. Place supplied 3V battery into control unit. Note correct polarization.
7. Plug pickup-cable into the 2.5mm input jack of the control unit.
8. Connect to appropriate amplifier with instrument cable.
