Before commencing with installation ensure that the power to the electrical mains is turned off.

• Opentheterminalboxcoverandremovethecablereliever.Unscrewtheinletscrewandremovethe
sealing ring.
• Threadthepowercablethroughtheinletscrewandthesealingring.Insertthewireendsintothe
terminal block and then tighten them (pay attention to the earth marking on the terminal box).
• Relacethecablerelieverandtheboxcover.Screwintheinletscrewtogetherwiththesealingring.
Lamp installation (see gure 1):
• Thextureshouldbexedtothemountingsurfacewithtwoscrewsaspertheholesinthemounting
supporter.
• Thettingshouldbexedhorizontally.
Operation
• Theinfrareddetectorisequippedwiththreecontrolknobs:
Lux: Adjust the Lux switch for Day and Night sensitivity as indicated on sensor.
Time: Adjust the time switch for the duration you would want the light to remain on.
Sens: Adjust the Sens switch for the sensitivity of the motion sensor.
• Turnthepowerswitchtothe"ON"positionandwait30secondsforthesystemscircuittostabilize.
• Aimthecontrolmoduletothedesiredtargetarea.
Field of detection
• Theeldofdetectionoftheinfraredlampcanbeadjusted30ºhorizontallyand30ºvertically.
• Byadjustinghorizontally,thepermanent130ºrangeofdetectioneldcanbereducedtocutout
detection from the streets, or neighbouring grounds, or further expanded to include detection of
movement from neighbouring grounds and the surrounding streets.
• Thebestdetectionisobtainedbyapproachingtheeldofdetectionperpendiculartoitsaxis.
• Shouldthedetectioneldbeapproachedinthedirectionofitsaxis,theinfrareddetectormaytakea
few seconds to respond.
Walk Test
• Haveapersonstandapproximatelyinthecentreofthedetectionarea,andhavethemmovearound
within it.
• OncethePIRsensorreceivesavalidtriggersignal(suchasthemovementofaperson)withinits
detectionarea,theoodlightwillbeturnedonforabout30secondsbeforedeactivating.
Possible problems
• Ventilatorssuchasthedischargefromavapourcapordryer(hotairmovement)maycausethelamp
to switch on when there is no need to.
• Passingcars(warmengines)mayalsocauseyourlamptoswitchon.
• Ifthelamphasbeenplacedunderarooforundertrees(shadedareas),thelampmayalsoburnduring
daylight hours.
• Shouldyourlampnotwork,pleasecheckthatthelampanditsfuseareinworkingcondition.Inthe
event that the lamp is in working condition, it may be possible that there has been a failure in the
electrical circuit.
• Ifthetemperaturedifferenceinthesurroundingareaandtheitemtobedetectedistoosmall(asin
summer time, where items retain heat for longer) your lamp may have a delayed reaction time.
• Yourlampwillnotworksatisfactorilyifitisplacedinsuchawaythattheeldofdetectionisnotwalked
through.
• Ifthereareuctuationelectromagneticinterferences(4KVelectrostaticdischarges,3V/m
electromagneticHF-eldand1KVelectricaltesttransientburst),thenthelampmayturnon
unintentionally.
FS32 - attachments:
Iftheexternalexiblecableorcordofthisluminaireisdamaged,itshouldbeexclusivelyreplacedbythe
manufacturerorhisserviceagentorasimilarqualiedpersoninordertoavoidahazard.Toensurethat
