•Thedriverandpassengermustberestrainedatalltimeswiththeseatbeltsprovidedtohelpprevent
injuryintheeventofsuddenbraking,collision,orroll-over.
•Intheeventofaroll-over,donotattempttojumporotherwiseexitthevehicle.Remainseatedwith
seatbeltfastenedandwitharmsandlegsinsidethevehicle.
•Afterinsertingthetab,makesurethetabandbucklearelockedandthatthebeltisnottwisted.
•Loosettingseatbeltscouldincreasethechanceofinjuryduetoslidingunderthebeltifsudden
brakingshouldoccur.Keeptheseatbeltsnugandpositionedaslowonthehipboneaspossible.
•Useasingleseatbeltforonepersonatatime.Donotuseasingleseatbeltfortwoormorepeople–
thisincludeschildren.
•Nomorethanonepersonperbucketseatatonetime.Donotallowpeopletorideinanypartofthe
vehiclethatisnotequippedwithaseatandaseatbelt.Donotallowapassengertoholdachildinhis
orherlapwhilethevehicleismoving.
•TheHusqvarnavehicleisnotdesignedtomeetchildseatcompatibilityrequirements.Children
requiringachildsafetyseatmustnotrideonthevehicle.Complywithstateandlocallawspertaining
tochildsafety.
CAUTION
•Becarefulnottodamagetheseatbeltwebbingorhardware.
•Inspecttheseatbeltsystemperiodically.Checkforcuts,fraying,andlooseparts.Damagedparts
shouldbereplacedimmediately.Donotdisassembleormodifythesystem.
•Keepseatbeltscleananddry.Ifcleaningisnecessary,useamildsoapandlukewarmwatersolution.
Donotusebleach,dyeorabrasivecleanersastheymayseverelyweakentheseatbelts.
•Donotinsertcoins,clip,etc.inthebuckleasthismaypreventthetabfromlockingintothebuckle
properly.
•Iftheseatbeltdoesnotfunctionnormally,contactyourdealer/distributorortrainedtechnician
immediately.Donotoccupytheseatuntiltheseatbeltisrepaired.
DRIVERSSIDESEATCONTROLS
DriversSideSeatAdjustments
Usethepositionadjustmentlever(1)tomovetheseatclosertoorfartherfromthesteeringwheel(Figure11).To
adjusttheseatposition,sitinthedriverseatandraisethepositionadjustmentlever.Slidetheseateitherforwardor
backwarduntilitreachesthedesiredposition,thenreturnthelevertoitsoriginalposition.
Theheightadjustmentknob(2)enablesyoutomodifytheseatheight.Usetheseatheightadjustmenttogetherwith
theseattensionadjustmentuntiltheseatfeelscomfortable.
Toadjusttheseatheight,sitinthedriverseatandpullouttheadjustmentknob(2).Movetheknobtowardtheshorter
indicatortolowertheseatheightortowardthetallerindicatortoraisetheseatheight.
Seattensioncontrolshowrmorsofttheridefeelstothedriver.Increasingseattensionresultsinarmerride;
decreasingtensionresultsinasofterride.
Usethetensionadjustmentlever(3)toadjusttheseattension.Pulloutthetensionadjustmenthandle(3),rotate
thehandletotheplus(+)signtoincreasetensionortheminus(–)signtodecreasetension,andreleasethehandle.
Firmlygraspthehandleandmoveitfromsidetosidetomodifythetensionadjustment.Thetensionindicator
(4)movesclosertothelargerpersonwhentensionisincreasedandclosertothesmallerpersonwhentensionis
