Astria Fireplaces Paris Lights is a 43-inch vent-free linear fireplace. It comes with a flame draft shield kit to prevent drafts from affecting the flame and a barrier kit to reduce the risk of burns from the hot viewing glass. The fireplace must be off and cold before beginning installation. Do not touch the glass until it has cooled. Never allow children to touch the glass.

The purpose of this kit is to prevent drafts from affecting the flame.
READ ALL THE STEPS BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION
THE FIREPLACE MUST BE OFF AND COLD BEFORE BEGINNING.
ALL WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS IN THE
INSTALLATION AND OPERATION MANUAL PROVIDED WITH THE
APPLIANCE APPLY TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
If you encounter any problems, need clarification of these instructions
or are not qualified to properly install this kit, contact you local dis-
tributor or dealer.
If any of these parts are missing or damaged, contact your dealer or
IHP.us.com for referral information.
GLASS PANEL INSTALLATION
The glass panel assembly should be installed after the fireplace is completely
framed and finished. Attached brackets to the front side face on each side
of the fireplace using two screws as shown in Figure 1. Position the glass
panel in the bracket so that it is securely in place.
DANGER
HOT GLASS WILL
CAUSE BURNS.
DO NOT TOUCH GLASS
UNTIL COOLED.
NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN
TO TOUCH GLASS.
A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns from the
hot viewing glass shall be installed for the protection of
children and other at-risk individuals.
