4. Press and hold the “ON” buon for 0.5 seconds to turn on the UPS. The buzzer will beep once.
5. A few seconds later the UPS will enter AC mode. If the ulity power is abnormal, the UPS will operate in
Baery Mode without interrupon.
Note: When the UPS is running out of baery me it will shut down automacally at Baery Mode. When
the ulity power is restored the UPS will auto restart in AC mode.
Turn on the UPS without Ulity Power (in Baery Mode)
1. Make sure that the breaker on the baery pack is in the “ON” posion
2. Press and hold the “ON” buon for 0.5 seconds to turn on the UPS. The buzzer will beep once.
3. A few seconds later the UPS will be turned on and enter Baery Mode.
Connecng devices to the UPS
Aer the UPS is turned on you can connect devices to the UPS.
1. Turn on the UPS rst and then switch on the devices one by one. The LCD Panel will display the total load
level.
2. If it is necessary to connect inducve loads such as a printer, the in-rush current should be calculated to
see if it is less than the available capacity of the UPS. Power consumpon by inducve loads can easily
exceed the available capacity during startup.
3. If the UPS is Overloaded, the buzzer will beep twice each second.
4. When the UPS is Overloaded, remove some loads immediately. It is recommended to have the total loads
connected to the UPS equal less than 80% of the nominal power capacity to prevent overload condions.
5. If the Overload me is over the acceptable me shown in the specicaon for AC Mode, the UPS will au-
tomacally transfer to Bypass Mode. Aer the Overload is removed, the UPS will return to AC Mode. If the
Overload me is over acceptable me listed in the specicaon for Baery Mode, the UPS will appear in
Fault Status. At this me, if Bypass is enabled, the UPS will power the loads via Bypass. If Bypass funcon
is disabled or the input power is not within Bypass range, the UPS will shut o output immediately.
Charging the Baeries
1. Aer the UPS is connected to ulity power, the charger will start to charge the baeries automacally
except if the UPS is in Baery Mode or during Baery Self-Test.
2. It is suggested to charge the baeries at least 10 hours before use to assure proper backup me.
3. Make sure the baery number seng on the control board is consistent to the real connecon.
Baery Mode Operaon
1. When the UPS is in Baery Mode, the buzzer will beep according to baery capacity.
a. If the baery capacity is more than 25%, the buzzer will beep once every 4 seconds.
b. If the baery voltage drops to the alarm level, the buzzer will beep once every second to indicate that
the baery is at a low level and the UPS will soon shut down automacally. Shung down non-crical
loads at this point will prolong the backup me. If the programmable mer funcon is enabled, the
UPS will shut o programmable output terminals automacally.
Note: There is a risk of data loss or load failure if baery runme is exceeded.
2. In Baery Mode, to silence the buzzer sound, press the Mute Buon.
3. The backup me depends on the external baery capacity.
4. The backup me may vary depending upon environmental condions and load types.
5. When seng the backup me for 16.5 hours (default value from LCD panel), aer discharging for 16.5
hours, the UPS will shut down automacally to protect the baery. This baery discharge protecon can
be enabled or disabled via the LCD Panel Control.
Tesng the Baeries
1. To check the Baery Status while the UPS is running in AC Mode, CSCF Mode, or ECO Mode press the
“Test” buon for the UPS Baery Self-Test.
2. To keep the UPS reliable, the UPS will perform the Baery Self-Test automacally on a periodic basis. The
