Remove the head cover and cylinder caps to inspect the thrust washers, spacers, needle
bearing, crank pin, crank shaft, rod assemblies piston seals. When components upto and
including the lower thrust washer have been removed, gently turn the crank shaft by hand
to be sure it moves freely. If bearings are seized or have signs of axial play, remove snap
ring and press out and inspect crankshaft and bearings.
Replace components where appropriate with a overhaul kit, reassemble in reverse order
grease top bearing (502735), apply a fresh layer of grease to rod assemblies and piston
seals (AGMD-010). Ensure the motor turns freely before operation of motor.
