WARNING
!
In order to avoid over-
heating of the heater, the heater must not be
covered – danger of fire! Observe the notes on
the device.
Please read the operating manual of your
radiator with care before commissioning, since
only this ensures proper use.
Never turn the device on or off with the plug,
but only by pushing the power switch.
Do not cover the device. If the device is
covered, there is a high risk of overheating.

ing). The device must be set up at a distance
of at least 1 m from any furniture, cushions,
bedclothes, paper, clothes, curtains and other
flammable materials.
The device must be set up so that the control
switches are not within reach of persons who
use the bathroom or shower.
Set up the device so that the power plug is
accessible at all times.
Never use the device in any rooms smaller than
4 square meters.
Do not operate the device in fire-hazardous
rooms (e.g. wooden sheds).
The housing may grow very hot during extended
operation. Set up the device so that accidental
contact is prevented.
Never set up the device on any carpets.

Table of contents
Do not let any objects get into the air inlet
or outlet. This may cause electric shock,
fire or damage to the heating element. The most
frequent reason for overheating is the collection of
dust and dirt in the device.
Regularly clean the blower opening with a vacuum
cleaner. Always remove the device from the mains
before cleaning. Always keep the heater clean.
The device is not suitable for animal husbandry
and only intended for household use!
CAUTION: How to avoid accidents and
injuries from electric shock:
Never touch the device with wet or moist
hands – danger to life!
Never submerge the device in water –
danger to life!
Never open the device and never touch any
live parts – danger to life!
In order to remove the plug from the outlet, the
outlet must be accessible at all times!
Never pull the cable or device itself to dis-
connect it from the power supply.
Never carry the heater by the power cable or
move it by pulling the cable.
The device can be used free-standing in the room.
Warning! Do not touch the hot surface.
The air outlet will grow hot when the
device is in operation (more than 80° Celsius).
Switch off the device when the cable is
damaged. Contact your supplier/dealer for
further instructions.
The power circuit to which the device is con-
nected
must be equipped with an automatic fuse.
The distance between the outlets and the device
(when switched off) must be at least 30 cm.
Earthing is forbidden! After unpacking and
before use, check that the mechanical parts
and their equipment are in an impeccable
condition. If you have any doubts, do not use
the device and seek advice from a qualified
electrician.
If the device is damaged or does not work
properly, switch off the device. Contact the
customer service for any kind of repairs. Your
damaged part will be replaced for a genuine
spare part there. Non-observation of these
instructions will impair safety of the device.
If you choose to no longer use this device, we
advise cutting off the cable to render it useless
after disconnecting it from the power supply.
We also recommend checking all danger
sources in this respect. Do not let the defective
device be used by children as a toy.
Disconnect the device from the power supply by
pulling the power plug when you are not going
to use
it for an extended time.
Place the power cable so as to avoid injury,
e.g. by tripping.
In order to avoid any overheating of the power
cable, we recommend unrolling the entire power
cable.
The cable must be placed so that it does not
impair movement of persons.
The cable must never touch any hot parts of
the device.
Never wind the power cable around the
device! Never use the device when the cable
is wound around it - this also applies when a
cable drum is used!
Safety notes
EN-US10
Do not squeeze or stretch the cable over any
sharp edges. Do not clamp the cable. Never
place the cable on any hot plates or into open
fire!
Keep children and persons subject to the
influence of medicines or alcohol away from
the device.
WARNING
!
DANGER OF FIRE!
Do not use this heater with a program switch, timer,
separate remote control system or any other facility
that automatically switches on the heater due to the
danger of fire when the heater is covered or set up
incorrectly.
Children younger than 3 must be kept away unless
permanently monitored. Children older than 3 but
younger than 8 must only switch the device on and
off if they are supervised or have been instructed in
safe use of the device and have understood the re-
sulting dangers, provided that the device is placed
and installed in its normal usage position. Children
older than 3 but younger than 8 must not push the
plug into the outlet, must not regulate the device,
must not clean and/or perform user maintenance
on the device.
This device can be used by children 8 and older
and also by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacities or a lack of expe-
rience and/or knowledge if they are supervised
or they have been instructed with regard to
the safe use of the device and they understand
the dangers it presents. Do not allow children
to play with the product. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be performed by children
without supervision.
Caution – Some parts of the heater fan
may grow very hot and cause burns.
Special care is required when children and persons
requiring protection are present.
STORAGE
Store the device and its accessories in a dark, dry
and frost-free place not accessible to children. The
optimal storage temperature is between 5 and 30 °C.
The device must have cooled off entirely before this.
Keep the device in its original packaging.
GENERAL SAFETY
NOTES FOR ELECTRICAL
DEVICE
Only connect the device via a fault interrupter
(FI) switch.
Protect yourself from electric shock. Do not
touch any earthed devices during use (such as
a refrigerator, water pipe, etc.).
DANGER! Avoid contact with a live cable.
This device is not insulated against electrical
shock.
Check before commissioning the device whether
the voltage indicated on the rating plate of
the device matches the voltage of your power
supply.
Check the extension and power cords regularly.
Replace any defective cables with new ones
at once.
If the power connection line of this device is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or his customer service or by an authorized

.
9. Push the on/off button 1 again to switch off
the device.
10. Pull off the mains plug from the socket.
THERMOSTAT SWITCH
Set the desired heating output.
Turn the controller to "MAX" until the desired room
temperature is reached. Then turn back the controller
until you can hear a clear click. The thermostat con-
troller switches the heater on and off automatically
and produces a near-constant room temperature.
The prerequisite for this is that the heater is equipped
with a sufficient heating output for the room to be
heated.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The heater fan has an integrated safety device that
switches it off in case of accidental overheating
(e.g. when the inlet and outlet grid is blocked, if the
motor turns slowly or not at all).
To start the heater fan again, you need to pull the
plug from the outlet for a few minutes (10-30 minutes)
and let the device cool off. Remove the cause of the
overheating (e.g. covered air grid) and switch on the
device again.
If the overheating protection trips again, always
disconnect the heater from the power supply and
let it cool off. Contact customer service.
