WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK. Read and understand all instructions.
Failure to follow all instructions listed below, may result in electrical shock,
fire and/or serious personal injury.
Electrical Safety
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK. This product must be plugged into an outlet
properly installed and grounded in accordance with all codes and ordinances. Never remove
the grounding prong or modify the plug in any way. Do not use adaptor plugs. Check with a
qualified electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded. If product
should electrically malfunction or break down grounding provides a low resistance path to
carry electricity away from the user.
Grounding Instructions
DANGER: IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF THE GROUNDING PLUG CAN RESULT IN A RISK OF
ELECTRICAL SHOCK. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding
instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt as to weather the product is properly
grounded.
1. Do not modify the plug provided; if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet
installed by a qualified electrician.
2. Do not use any type of adapter with this product.
3. This fountain must be plugged into a 3-wire, 3-prong outlet that is properly working
and has been installed and grounded in accordance with all local, state or federal codes
and ordinances.
Extension Cords
1.Make sure your extension cord is in good condition.
2.When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your
product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of
power and overheating. Reference Table 1 for the correct size to use depending on cord
length and nameplate Ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gage. The smaller the
gage number, the heavier the cord.
Outdoor Use Extension Cords.
1.When product is used outdoors, use only extension cords intended for outdoor use
and so marked.
2.Use only UL listed extension cords. Inspect extension cord before use and never use
damaged or altered extension cords.
3.Follow extension cord manufacturer safety instruction.

adjusted at this time. Further adjustments
may be necessary once water fountain has
been assembled and tested.
1.Turn adjustment lever on pump (C) towards
"--" or "min" to decrease water flow,
or away from "--" or "min" to increase
water flow.
Fill Fountain with Water
NOTE: Do not plug in the pump before
filling well with water. Running the pump
without water may damage pump.
1.Fill bottom well (B) with water.
2.Plug power cord from water pump into
properly grounded 120V AC outlet.
3.Water should start to flow from water bucket
into water well. See section entitled
"Maintenance" if water is not flowing.
Maintenance
CAUTION: Never allow pump to run without water.
1.Check water level periodically, add water when necessary.
