Kawasaki 99994-0545 is a hard top made of plastic. It is designed for the MULE PRO model and takes approximately 90 minutes to assemble. The hard top protects the occupants of the vehicle from the elements, such as rain, snow, and wind. It also provides shade from the sun. The hard top can be easily removed when not needed. In addition, the hard top has a number of features that make it easy to use, such as a rear window that can be opened for ventilation and a latch that secures the hard top in place when it is closed.

NOTE: Do not drive the Mule with the rear of the plastic hard top flipped forward as it could damage the hinge of
the plastic hard top.
Improper installation of this accessory could result in an accident causing serious bodily injury or
death. To prevent an accident, be sure that this accessory is properly and securely installed on your
vehicle. If you cannot properly install this accessory yourself, have a professional installer, such as an
authorized Kawasaki dealer, install it for you.
Prior to each use, check to be sure the accessory is securely attached to the vehicle and periodically
inspect the accessory for any required adjustment, wear, and damage.
• To avoid damage and the wind adversely affecting the vehicle, transport it in an enclosed truck or trailer.
• If an enclosed transporter is not available, remove the hard top and position the vehicle facing forward.

Installation Instructions:
3. Install two hinges (C02) to the front and rear hard top
panels (A02, B02) using four hinge dampers (C03),
eight 6 mm x 14 mm screws (C04) and four hinge
brackets (C01).
4. Install four adhesive dampers (A06) to the bottom
side of the hard top at the locations shown.
*Band brackets (B01) will requre a width adjustment at
the time of installation to the vehicle. Leave hardware
loose.
2. Install the cross bracket (B03) and *two band
brackets (B01) to the under side of the rear hard top
(B02) using four 6 mm x 22 mm screws (B04), four 6
mm washers (B06), four damper washers (B08) and
four 6 mm lock nuts (B05).
1. Park the vehicle on level ground, set the parking
brake, turn off the ignition switch. Check the both bed
latches are secured.

Please check / adjust all screws in regular intervals.
6. Secure the rear of the hard top to the ROPS tubes
using two rubber straps (B07). Bend the tabs as shown
to retain the rubber strap when hinging the hard top
during bed lift.
Note: When tilting the bed with long bed, un-hook the
rubber straps (B07) and tilt the rear hard top forward.
5. Install the hard top assembly to the top of the ROPS
tubes.
5a. Install four u-clamps under the hard top using four
upper brackets (A01), four dampers (A07), and eight
lock nuts (A04).
5b. Install four 6 mm x 22 mm screws (A03), four
washers (A05) and four dampers (A08) through the top
of the hard top and the existing hole in the ROPS tube
bracket. Secure with four 6 mm lock nuts (A04).
5c. Adjust the width of the band brackets (B01) installed
in step 2 to match the width of the ROPS tubes. Tighten
band bracket hardware.
