Installation Instructions:
Park the vehicle on level ground, set the parking brake, turn off the ignition switch.
1. Windshield hook and loop fastener installation:
1-1. Mask the windshield 1” down from the top of the
windshield. Sand or etch the windshield with a coarse
grit sand paper. A wood block may be used to further
ensure a clean edge and consistent distance from the
edge of the windshield. Clean this and all other areas to
receive adhesive hook and loop fastener with isopropyl
rubbing alcohol and allow to dry. When installing, peel
the backing off the self-adhesive hook and loop
fastener and adhere. Firmly press the adhesive with a
blunt object to ensure a good bond. Maximum hook and
loop fastener adhesion will occur in 24 hours at room
temperature.
1-2. Remove the hook and loop fastener with self
adhesive backing from the front of the top/back (A01).

2. Rear hook and loop fastener installation:
2-2. Remove and install the two 10” strips of adhesive
hook and loop fastener along the rear inside corners of
the cab, centering the hook and loop fastener in the
corners.
2-1. Remove and Install the 13” strip of adhesive hook
and loop fastener along the rear inside edge of the cab.
NOTE: Hook and loop fastener is attached to the soft top in appropriate mounting locations.
Remove the adhesive hook and loop fastener strips from the top/back (A01) so that it may be properly installed
on the unit. Remember where the hook and loop fastener was attached to ease installation.
1-3. Install this strip at the top of the windshield, along
the ridge, 2” from the edges. Cover with a length of
masking tape (to prevent hook and loop fastener from
mating) until the end of the top/back (A01) installation.

3. Windshield air block installation
4. Top/back installation
NOTE: The windshield air blocks are only for 2012 -
2015 models only.
Air blocks for 2016 and newer models are included in
the soft door kit (P/N: TX00-016).
3-1. Install the windshield air blocks (A03) by fastening
the hook and loop fastener as shown.
4-1. Insert the rear legs of the aluminum top frame
(A02) into the front half that is pre-installed in the
top/back (A01). Be sure the tubing buttons engage to
hold the legs in place.
4-2. Insert the black eye ends on the ends of the frame
into the webbing pockets on the top/back (A01). This
should be a snug fit.
The front corners of the top/back may need to be pulled
off of the frame corners to allow the frame to fit, but
should be pulled back down over the frame after the

4-5. The tail of webbing should be placed between the
frame and the windshield and then fed back through the
buckle on the top as it was originally. Cinch the front
webbing strap very tight as shown.
IMPORTANT: Pull the webbing through buckle so that
there is 2 " of webbing beneath the buckle. This will
yield the proper location for the frame and the top on
the windshield. Adjust the hook and loop fastener as
needed. Hint: You may want to cover the hook and
loop fastener with tape while the top is positioned. The
hook and loop fastener is designed to help seal the
front edge. The top hook and loop fastener is not
entirely necessary for the installation of the cab.
4-3. Drape the top/back canvas (A01) over the cab.
4-4. Remove the lower webbing on the front corners
from the ladder lock buckle.

the cab frame. This will be difficult for the first
installation.

handle. Wrap hook and loop fastener around the seat
bar, and affix back to the mating hook and loop
fastener on the canvas, as shown.
The top canvas should now be tight.

frame as shown.
