Interactive Whiteboard System Users Guide
Changing your projectors
aspect ratio for use with your
SMART Board 690 interactive
whiteboard
Before aligning the projector image on your SMART Board™ 690 interactive whiteboard, you must
change the native aspect ratio on your SMART UF75w projector to 16:9. You don’t need to
perform this step with any other model of interactive whiteboard.
CAUTION
Changing other settings in the projector’s service menu could damage or affect the operation
of your projector and invalidate your warranty. See the “Accessing the Service Menu” section
in the SMART Board 600i5 Interactive Whiteboard System User’s Guide
(smarttech.com/kb/154549
) for more information.

2. Quickly press the following buttons on the remote control to access the service menu: Down,
Up, Up, Left, Up.
3. Scroll to the WXGA_720P_MODE field.
