USING YOUR HUB

Installing the hub

Plug the 8-Port Type-C Hub into the two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C)

ports on your MacBook Pro.

Uninstalling the hub

To remove the 8-Port Type-C Hub, unplug the hub from your

MacBook Pro.

Charging your devices

Make sure that your computer is turned on in order to charge

your devices and use the ports.

TROUBLESHOOTING

My computer does not detect the hub

• Unplug and plug the 8-Port Type-C Hub in again

• Make sure that the type-C female and hub type-C plugs

are not damaged.

• Connect to another set of type-C ports.

My computer does not detect the SD Card or Micro SD Card

• The hub cannot read cards with capacities greater than

2TB.

• Make sure that the card is not locked.

• Make sure that the card slot is not damaged and that the

card is inserted as shown by the icon on the card.

My computer does not detect the hard drive

• Make sure that the hard drive is not damaged then plug it

in again.

My computer does not detect the HDMI video output

• Make sure that the HDMI monitor is operating normally.

• Make sure that the HDMI slot is not damaged, then plug it

in again.

My display does not show 4K/5k content

• You need a display that supports 4K/5K resolutions and

you need 4K/5K content on your source device.

• Make sure that your USB-C cable is capable of transmitting

4k or higher content

My computer does not have an internet connection

• Check the ethernet port to make sure that the ethernet

cable is plugged in and working normally.

• Make sure that the website is set correctly.

My network speed is not 1 Gbps

• Your internet service must provide 1 Gbps.

My computer is not providing power to the hub

• Make sure that all cables are connected correctly.

• Make sure that your device is turned on.
