How to import the

TaqMan® Low Density Array RNase P template

The following procedure provides information on how to successfully download and import the

TaqMan® Low Density Array RNase P template for use with SDS software v2.1 and v2.2 of the

ABI PRISM® 7900HT Sequence Detection System.

NOTE: Please do not use your existing “RNase P Card Template” in SDS software v2.2, as it

contains an incorrect plate format.

1. Download the TaqMan® Low Density Array RNase P template file onto the desktop of

your computer.

2. Place the TaqMan® Low Density Array RNase P template file into the “Templates” folder

within the installed directory of your SDS software.

SDS software v2.2 example: SDS software v2.1 example:

Select My Computer and navigate to: Select My Computer and navigate to:

D:\AppliedBiosystems\SDS2.2\Templates D:\Program Files\Applied Biosystems\SDS 2.1\Templates

Note: Ensure that there are no spaces in the

selected “AppliedBiosystems” folder name.

3. You may now proceed to use this template with your 7900HT TaqMan Low Density

Array RNase P kit.
