yourSecurViewDX/RTWorkstationUserGuideforfuturereference.

InSecurViewversions10.1.2andlater,Focusmodecanbeusedtoeasilyvisualizethe

correlationfromaregionofinterestinaHologicsynthesized2D(Intelligent2D™orC‐

View™)imagetothemostrepresentativereconstructedslice.Focusmodeisavailablein

SingleandDoubletiling.

Note

TheFocusbuttonisdisplayedinthetilewiththesynthesized2Dimageonly

whenthesynthesized2Dimageandthecorrespondingreconstructedslices

hangsidebyside.InDoubletilingtheyneedtohanginadjacenttilesonthe

leftorrightside.



TheFocusbuttonisdisplayedevenifʹOmitTomosynthesistoolsʹis

1. ClickFocusinthetiledisplayingthesynthesized2Dimageorpressthe[V]keyon

thekeyboardtoactivateFocusmodeforthetile.Thepointerchangestoacrosshair

toindicateFocusmodeisactive.



FocusmodeisonlyactiveinthetileinwhichtheFocusbuttonisclicked.



Note

Focusmoderemainsactiveuntildeactivated(seestep3).ToapplyFocusina

singleinstancewithoutactivatingthefeature,pressandhold[CTRL]onthe

keyboardwhileclickingtheleftmousebuttoninthesynthesized2Dimage.

2. Clickonaregionofinterestwithinthesynthesized2Dimage.Theassociated

reconstructedslicetileswitchestothemostrepresentativeslice.

IftheFocusdataiscorrupt,thedisplayedslicemaynotbethemost

representativeslice.

a. Whenthepointerisinthetilewiththesynthesized2Dimage,scrolling(for

example,usingthescrollwheel)isappliedtothetilewiththecorresponding

reconstructedslices.

b. IfCinemodeisappliedtoafocusedreconstructedslice,LocalCinemodeis

appliedautomaticallywiththefocusedreconstructedsliceasthecenterslice.

deactivateFocusmodeforthetile.

Focusmodeisnotdeactivatedbyselectinganotherimageevaluationtool.

Focusmodeisautomaticallydeactivatedwhenthecurrenthangingchanges,

forexample,bygoingtothenextorpreviousstepintheReportFlow,

manuallydraggingadifferentimagefromtheMammoNavigator,switching

toadifferentimageineithertileusingtheTomosynthesisNavigation

buttons,orclickingapredefinedhangingbutton.


