Introduction
The Model T32795 Shears Sharpening Jig is
a fixture designed for sharpening scissors and
shears on the Model T32720 10" Wet Grinder.

Using Jig
Attach the jig support to the tool rest on your
Model T32720 10" Wet Grinder to sharpen scis-
sors, shears, and clippers.
To use jig:
1. DISCONNECT GRINDER FROM POWER!
2. Install tool rest in vertical position so it is
about 1" away from grinding wheel.
3. Slide jig onto tool rest and secure with (2)
M6-1 x 22 knob bolts (see Figure 3).
Eye and face injuries and respiratory prob-
lems can occur while operating this tool.
Wear personal protective equipment to
reduce your risk from these hazards.
Keep hair, clothing, and
jewelry away from mov-
ing parts at all times.
Entanglement can result
in death, amputation, or
severe crushing injuries!

4. Loosen (2) clamp knobs on clamp enough to
allow one blade of scissors or shears to slide
in (see Figure 4).
5. Loosen (2) lock knobs on clamp enough so
they do not extend through upper portion of
clamp (see Figure 4).

6. Insert (1) blade of scissors or shears into
clamp, as shown in Figure 5, and tighten
clamp knob to secure.
Note: If blade extends to second triangle
clamp, tighten both clamp knobs.
7. Tighten lock knob to secure (see Figure 5).

8. Rest clamp against rails of jig and grinding
wheel (see Figure 6).
9. Adjust tool rest closer to or further from grind-
ing wheel and angle of jig until beveled edge
of blade sits flat against grinding wheel (see
Figure 6).

10. Tilt scissor jig away from grinding wheel, con-
nect grinder to power, and turn machine ON.
11. Use firm grip to return scissor blade to sur-
face of grinding wheel to perform operation.
Use smooth stroking motion and even pres-
sure with beveled edge of blade flat against
grinding wheel and against wheel rotation
(see Figure 7).
