INSTALLATION & USE
Install the cooler as per the Installation
procedure:
1. Check your cooler for any transit damage
before using. If required, discard the packaging
only after satisfactory inspection of product.
However, we recommend retaining the
packaging if you wish to store the cooler after
end of season.
2. Place your Aisen Air Cooler at least 10 cm
away from wall or any other obstruction. The
cooler should be placed near a window/door to
allow in fresh air.
3. Always ensure that there is another open
window/door through which warm air can
exhaust from the room. Constant air change is
very essential for fresh air cooling by your Air
Cooler.
4. Plug in the mains cord of your Air Cooler to a
wall socket. Ensure the plug is properly earthed
& mains switch is in OFF position while plugging.
Cooler should be plugged into specified voltage
& frequency supply only.
5. Filling of water: Fill your water tank of air
cooler with water through the water inlet vent
given in the front. The water level indicator will
show when the tank is full. It is advisable to use
tumbler to fill the water to ensure no spillage
(ensure the power point is OFF while filling
water). Alternatively, for continuous water supply,
online water connection can be used to fill the
water through water inlet given on the side of the
cooler. Your air cooler comes with float valve
which automatically cuts water supply when the
tank is full.

INSTALLATION & USE
6. Pre Soaking: Before putting Cooler to
ON mode, it is advisable to run pump for
few minutes by using cooling control switch.
This will ensure uniform Soaking of cooling
media & avoid sprinkling of water if any.
7. Air Control:
A. Set the speed knob to desired level viz.
HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW of air delivery.
B. If you want to use the cooler in COOL
mode; set the Cooling Control Switch to ON
position to start the pump for distribution of
water on cooling pads. Keep the switch to
OFF position to use the cooler in FAN mode
only.
C. For focussed flow of air, adjust the
Horizontal Louver Control Switch to desired
position. Turning clockwise the Vertical
Louver Control Knob switches ON the
vertical air oscillation. If focussed vertical air
flow is required, stop the vertical louvers at
the desired position.
6
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. Always ensure that mains switch of socket is
OFF while filling water.
2. Mains cord plug should be firmly attached to
the socket with proper earthing.
3. The supply voltage and frequency should be
as per product specifications.
4. Keep the packaging box and cooler away from
children's reach. This product is not intended to
be used by persons with reduced physical,
mental or sensory capabilities unless supervised
or assisted by a person responsible for their
safety.
5. Always ensure that the cooler is placed on
even floor or sturdy base which can withstand the
weight properly. Unstable base may lead to
untoward accident.
6. Fill water only up to maximum level indicated
in water level indicator.
7. Ensure cooler is switched off before opening
side and back panels for cleaning cooling pads
TIPS:
1. Air Cooler should be placed at least 10 cm
away from wall or any obstruction on all sides to
allow fresh air circulation inside the cooler. In
there is any obstruction in the flow of air then
cooling and air delivery will reduce considerably.
2. Cooling pads should be cleaned at least once
after every 3 months of use to avoid scaling.
Water hardness deposits on cooling pads
thereby reducing the water evaporation process
resulting in loss of cooling. To clean the cooling
pads, unplug the cooler and remove back and
side panels by unscrewing the thumb screw and
remove dust on cooling pads with hose spray
Depending on the level of hardness of water in
your area, you may be required to clean the
cooling pads more frequently.

4. Always keep sufficient water in tank to enjoy
seamless cooling comfort.
5. Always keep doors and window open for cross
ventilation and circulation of fresh air inside
room.
6. After end of season, empty the water tank
through drain plug and keep the cooler well
covered when not in use. This will avoid dust
particles entering the cooling pads and also
breeding of harmful germs. Do not keep heavy
items on top of cooler to avoid damage.
7. Before using the air cooler for the next season,
it is advisable to get preventive maintenance
done by nearest Aisen Service centre. This
involves cleaning of water tank, motor and pump
cleaning and oiling, checking of electrical
connections, water distribution pipe and
channels, change of cooling pads and
interior/exterior cleaning. With this, you air cooler
will be ready to deliver seamless comfort from
heat of the ensuing summer time.

obstruction to let fresh air enter inside the cooling
pads freely.
