Power off the server and open the chassis. Disconnect rear fan
connector ( 1 and 2 in the picture below )
Remove the four screws that
are keeping the fan from the
rear part of the chassis.
Place the redundant hot-swap fan inside the chassis and connect both cables
to the motherboard, keeping attention on the cables order.
Fix the redundant fan holder to the chassis with the
four screws.
