Essential sensors
The following sensors are used by the system, not having those sensors working properly will generate
important consequences for the performance and reliability of engine and gearbox:
RPM
Throttle pedal position
Throttle position
Atmospheric pressure, pressures before and after throttle
Turbo RPM
Ambient temperature, air intake temperature and exhaust gaz temperature
Temperature and pressure of the cooling circuit
Knocking sensor
Temperature and pressure of engine oil
Temperature of gearbox and rear diff oil
Barrel position + gearbox command effort
Vehicle speed
Rear brake and handbrake pressure
PEAL accumulator pressure
Fuel pressure
Optional sensors
The following sensors can be used in test but are forbidden in official competition:
Wheel speed (part number 1E1326775A)
Brake pad temperature (part number 903895318A)

Maps
1. Stage / Road: dedicated map selection
2. Gravel / Asphalt: surface selection
3. Throttle : selection of the performance mode (3 maps available)
4. Launch : selection of launch control (2 choices)
Indicators and swap page of display
1 & 3. Indicators: one push starts indicators during 25s, a push on both indicators stops it.
A push on both indicator buttons starts the warning
2. Swap page: short press display the next page of the mode
long press change the display mode (driver / mechanics)
Lights and light pods
1. Lights: a press for a change: OFF position light dimmed headlights OFF
When dimmed headlights are ON, push on the button of the extremity of the wiper switch for high
beam
2-3-4. light pods: need the high beam lights ON
Starter
A short push launches the starter until the engine starts (maxi 5s)

Map selection
Engine maps
- 3 maps per surface are available
- map 1 is the most performing map for high grip surfaces, map 3 is the less aggressive map for low grip
surfaces, map 2 is in between
Surface selection
The selection of the surface adjusts the vehicle speed to the tyres circumference and the throttle maps (as
shown above)
Launch control
There are 2 choices but there is no difference between both maps (for the moment)

Fuel pump
- The fuel pumps in the tank runs a few seconds after a Power ON
- The fuel pumps in the tank runs when the engine is running
- To drain the fuel tank or for a fuel sample:
Main switch ON and power OFF
Keep pushing auxiliary function and push on the Power button
Radiator fan
- The fan starts running when water temperature is above 80°then stops below 75°
- Fan can be forced:
Main switch ON and power OFF
Keep pushing the heater fan button and push on the Power button
- The fan stops running 3s after the engine stops
Engine Crank
- To prime the oil pump and circuit before a first start of the engine, please follow the procedure:
Main switch ON and power OFF
Push on the horn button then on the start button. Keep pushing until you reach 5 bars of oil pressure

Activation of the launch control
1. Select the launch control strategy: push on the launch button to select Launch 1 or 2 (selection displayed on the
dashboard)
2. When you are stopped on the start line, check you are in road mode
3. Clutch
4. Engage 1

5. Pull hand brake (pressure must be higher than 10 bars)
6. Select the stage mode, the strategy is activated
7. Push full throttle 5 seconds before the start time
8. The message "GO !!!" is displayed when the optimum pressure of air circuit is reached
9. When you want to start the stage, release the hand brake and clutch in the same time, keep full throttle during
the launch. Depending on the grip, the driver has to manage the clutch (and the throttle pedal in case of very low
grip condition).

Calibration of throttle pedal and throttle body
Important:
The calibration must be done:
- after the replacement of the throttle pedal of throttle body
- after the replacement of the ECU
- after the replacement of the engine
Procedure
1. Engine must be OFF and gearbox in neutral
2. Main switch OFF
3. Keep pushing the throttle pedal
4. Main switch ON
5. Wait for the 1st message on the display
6. Then release the throttle pedal when displayed
7. Wait for the message of calibration success
8. Main switch OFF
If you get a message of calibration failure, please proceed to a new calibration procedure

Zero of the steering wheel position sensor
Procedure
1. The engine must be OFF, the spacer (straight tool number 1E4126405A-OUT) must be fitted in the left part of the steering
rack
2. Main switch ON and Power OFF
3. Keep pushing the heater and auxiliary functions button until the message "ZERO OK« is displayed
4. Main switch OFF
5. Remove the spacer from the steering rack
Information
The zero must be done:
- after the replacement of the steering wheel position sensor
- after the replacement of the ECU
- after any work on the steering system

Engine map update
Procedure
1. Copy the file with the map (***.bin) in the root of a USB key (part number 3Z9S25574A).
2. Engine OFF, main switch ON
3. Select the welcome page of the mechanic mode, as shown below
4. Connect the USB key and follow the update process with displayed icons
5. When the update has been successful, main switch OFF
6. Remove the map file from the USB key in order to avoid updating every time you connect the key to the car
Information
- The map you get is linked to the serial number of the SRG ECU
- Do not modify the name of the map file ***.bin

2. Long press with power OFF water pump running (bleed of
the cooling circuit). Same procedure to stop the pump.

Alarms
Blue LED are ON (still or blinking) when there is an alarm or
an important message displayed
Led 1 blinking: high level alarm, we recommend to
stop the engine
Led 1 still : medium level alarm, we recommend to
analyse the situation to decide if you drive at the
same rhythm or if you slow down
Led 2 still : low level alarm, we recommend to
analyse the situation to decide if you drive at the
same rhythm or if you slow down
Even if an alarm message is removed on the display, the blue
LED keep being ON to remind that an alarm is ON

To check the position of the barrel position sensor, use this page to read the tension measured by the sensor.
Be sure the gearbox is in neutral then adjust the position of the sensor to get the tension between 0.995 V and 1.005 V.
A wrong setting of this sensor leads to difficult gear shift and a reduction of gearbox parts lifetime.

Engine diagnostics
In case of unplugged sparkplug, one of these icons will be displayed together with the number of the sparkplug:
Synchronisation:
In case of synchronization lost or abnormal RPM signal, one of these icons will be displayed:
If there is no RPM signal when the Start button is pushed, the alarm is ON and the message SMOT is
displayed:
Power output alarms
In case of current protection, the concerned output will be shut off and an alarm will be displayed (LOWOFF or
HIGHOFF) with a number which will help you to know which output is off (see next page)
On the diagnostics page, an icon related to the concerned output will be displayed (see page 20)
