Congratulations!
You have found the hidden treasures!
The cards in this box have all been previously published in small packs
sold exclusively through our online store, Warehouse 23, and in our booths at
various conventions starting in 2010. We’ve had many requests over the years
to make them more widely available, so here they are!
Specific Rules
A few of these cards use rules that are found only in certain sets. If you want
to use those rules and don’t have those sets, here are some workarounds (and
a pointer to the sets with the full rules, which can be downloaded from those
sets’ pages on munchkin.sjgames.com):
• Steed/Vehicle/Ship: If you don’t have the rules, treat these as
Big items that do not count against your Big item total. The best
Run Away bonus from these Items
replaces any other Run Away
bonuses or penalties you may have. Steed rules are in
Munchkin 4, 5,
and
8, and The Good, the Bad, and the Munchkin. Vehicle rules are in
Munchkin Impossible and Munchkin Apocalypse 2. Ship rules are in
Munchkin Booty, Star Munchkin: Space Ships, and Star Munchkin 3.
The appropriate Enhancer rules are also in those supplements.
• Room: The Room rules are in
Star Munchkin 2. If you don’t have that
set, just treat Attic like any other Door card.
• Power: A Power is a trait like a Class or Race. You can have total
ranks of Power equal to your current Level, and you cannot have the
same Power more than once. The Power in
Hidden Treasures goes
with
Munchkin Bites!; other sets with Powers are Munchkin Axe Cop,
Super Munchkin, and Munchkin Zombies.
• Style: Styles are found in
Munchkin Fu. If you don’t have that set, just
treat Boo Fu like a Class or Race (but different from those).
• Hireling/Sidekick: These are equivalent (and also equivalent
to Allies, Comrades, and Minions). These cards are in most
Munchkin games. You can only have one Hireling-type card at a time,
no matter the specific type.
• Dragons: If you have
Munchkin Dragons or Munchkin Dragon’s Trike,
you already know how nasty the Draconic card can be. If not, don’t
worry about it. Yet.
