• Ensure!VinciLab!has!suf ficient!battery!power!or!is!connected!to!a!power!supply.!!
• On!the!Home!Screen!tap! !to!open!the!Coach!Application.!
• Connect! sensor(s)!t o!the!s ensor!input(s)!of!VinciLab.!!!

The!sensor!digital!display!shows!information!
about! the! sensor! defined! i n! the! Activity!
(red)!and!the!sensor! identified!by! VinciLab.!
Connect! the!defined! sensor!or!chan ge!it!into!
the! detected!sensor!by! touching! Exchange.!
This! feature! is! not! available! for! sensors,!
which!cannot!be!identified.!!
• Tap! !to!check! the!live!r eadings!of!the! sensors.! The!live!data!are!not!stored!in!Vin ciLab’s!
memory.!
• You! are! ready! to! start! a! measurement.! The! measurement!will!be! executed! according! to!
the!given!measurement!settings.!Tap! !to!check!or!change!these!settings.! !
• Tap! !to!start!collecting!data.!!!
o In!most!cases,!Coach!directly!starts!the!measurement.!!
o If! triggering!is!enabled!then!the!measurement!is! started! automatically!when!the!trigger!
conditions!are!met.!
o For!a ! Manual! measurement! tap! !to! collect!a!single!measurement.!When! keyboard!
input!is!requested!then!the!value!of!one!or!more!quantities!has!to!be!typed!in.!
• The!measurement!stops!when!the!specified!measurement!time!(time-based)!or!specified!
number!of!samples!(manual)!has!been!reached.!Tap! !to!interrupt!the!measurement.!!
• To!save!your!Result!go!to! ,!tap! !or!tap! !an d!select!Save!or!Save+As….!!

1.+CONNECTING+VINCILAB+FOR+THE+FIRST+TIME++
Before!you!start!to!use!VinciLab!with!the!computer!via!the!USB!cable!we!recommend!to!first!
install!the!latest!version!of!the!Coach!7!or!Coach!7!program!on!your!computer.!In!most!cases!
the!VinciLab!installation! is!automatically!executed!the!first!time!VinciLab!is!connected! to!the!
USB! port! of! the! computer.! After! successful! installation! VinciLab! is! shown! under! Network!
adapters!(Windows)/Ethernet! cards!(MAC).! If! the! driver! is! not! successfully! installed! or! there!
are! problems!w ith!communication!between! VinciLab!and!computer! c onsult!the!VinciLab!User’s!

4.+DISPLAYING+THE+VINCILAB’S+SCREEN+ON+A+COMPUTER+OR+A+MOBILE+DEVICE+
VinciLab!offers!Dat a!Share! via!Virtual !Network!Computing! (VNC),!wh ich!makes!possible!to!view!
the! V inciLab! screen! on! any! computer! or! a! mobile! device.! The! VNC! protocol! can! run! via! a!
network!connection!but! also! via!a! U SB! connection.!To!allow!this!a!VNC!Viewer!program!needs!
to!be! installed!on!the! controlling!device!and!r emote!connection!has!to!be!established!between!
the!devices.!Such!VNC!Viewers!are!freely!available!for!all!platforms.!
