PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
Step 1. Remove the factory skid plates (If equipped). If your vehicle is equipped
with an engine skid plate, it will have to be temporarily moved out of the
way.
Step 2. With the factory skid plates removed, begin mounting the new transfer
case skid plate. Using (3) of the supplied M12 x 35mm hex bolts and M12
washers, fasten the skid plate to the vehicle cross member. Leave these
bolts loose at this time.
Step 3. Using (1) of the M12 x 35mm hex bolts and M12 washer fasten the skid
plate to the fuel tank guard. Leave this bolt loose at this time.
Step 4. Using the M12 x 60mm hex bolt and washers install the skid plat to the
driver side of the frame. Once all of the bolts have been started tighten
all of the bolts to 55 ft•lbs. Replace any skid plates that have been
removed and tighten to factory specications.
