Using the Mode button to select Spotify
If you have previously connected using the Spotify Connect app you may
select Spotify using the mode button on your sound system.
1. Press the Mode button to select the Spotify mode.
Please note if the power is removed you will need to re-connect Spotify with
your sound system using the app once again.

The capabilities of the Stream 93i have been enhanced since the instruction book (issue 1) was published. This document describes the new features.
• Spotify Connect may be selected using the Mode button.
• The sleep timer may be set directly without using the menu system.
• The display brightness may be changed without using the menu system.
Using the Info button to select the display brightness
The brightness of the display can be adjusted independently for when the sound
system is in standby and for when it is in use. If you use the unit in the bedroom, you
may prefer a lower standby brightness level than the standard setting.
To change the current brightness setting please follow these steps.
1. Press and hold the Info button to access the display brightness setting.
2. Rotate the Tuning/Select control to choose either the High, Medium or Low
brightness level. Press the control to set the level.
3. If the sound system is playing, then the chosen brightness will be applied immediately.
If the sound system is in standby, then the chosen brightness will be applied after
a 10 second delay.
Note that the sound system has separate brightness settings for when it is in use and
for when it is in standby. You can also change the brightness settings using the sound
system’s menu system. See page 85 of your instruction book.

Using the On/Standby button to select the sleep timer
Your sound system can be set to turn off after a preset sleep time has elapsed. The
sleep timer can be set while the sound system is in Standby or whilst in use.
1. Press and hold the On/Standby button to access the sleep timer.
2. Rotate the Tuning/Select control until the required sleep time setting is selected.
Press the Tuning/Select control to confi rm the setting. The sleep timer can be
set to between 15 and 120 minutes, or to Off.
3. If the sound system was in standby the sound system will then be switched on for
the chosen duration. If the sound system was already playing then it will continue
playing and the sleep timer will be set to the chosen duration.
4. The time remaining before the sound system switches back to standby will be
displayed at the bottom of the display.
The sleep timer may also be set using the sound system’s menu system. See page
82 of your instruction book.
