Warning: This tool is not insulated against electrical shock and should not be used for purposes other than intended.
1. Introduction
This tool was designed to compress the AnyPort Express RG-6 Quad BNC and RCA connectors. The tool comes
with two (2) adapters, a silver colored adapter for commercial connectors and an insert adapter for use with OnQ
wall plates. Refer to Chart 1 for adapter usage.
2. To use with BNC connectors (refer to Chart 1)
A. Prep the cable according to connector requirements (typically ¼” x ¼”) to achieve the proper braid exposure
and center conductor length. Push the connector onto the cable as indicated by the connector manufacturer’s
specification/instruction sheet.
Note: Connectors are not reusable. Be certain connector is properly positioned before crimping.
B. Open the tool with the blue handle resting comfortably in the palm of your hand.
C. Insert the connector into the plunger head and lay the cable into the connector yoke (slot).
D. Grasp the body of the tool with your fingers and start to close the handle of the tool. As the handle closes, the
plunger slides towards the yoke. When the handle is completely closed against the body, the connector has
been terminated.
3. To use with “F” connectors (refer to Chart 1 and Figure 2)
A. Follow same instructions as with the BNC, but insert the appropriate adapter into the BNC spring clip
before inserting the “F” connector. The adapter can be stored on the bottom of the tool by screwing it on.
B. Insert the tip of the adapter so that the slot opening faces up.
C. Insert the connector into the plunger head and lay the cable into the connector yoke (slot).
D. Grasp the body of the tool with your fingers and start to close the handle of the tool. As the handle
closes, the plunger slides towards the yoke. When the handle is completely closed against the body, the
connector has been terminated.

4. To use with RCA connectors: (refer to Chart 1 and Figure 3)
A. Follow same instructions as with the BNC, but insert the appropriate adapter into the BNC spring clip
before inserting the RCA connector. The adapter can be stored on the bottom of the tool by screwing it
on.
B. Insert the tip of the adapter so that the slot opening faces up.
C. Insert RCA into the plunger head and lay the cable into the connector yoke (cable slot).
D. Grasp the body of the tool with your fingers and start to close the handle of the tool. As the handle
closes, the plunger slides towards the yoke. When the handle is completely closed against the body, the
connector has been terminated.
5. To use with AnyPort Express Insert connectors: (refer to Chart 1 and Figure 4)
A. Follow same instructions as with the BNC, but insert the insert adapter into the BNC spring clip before
inserting the connector.
B. Grasp the body of the tool with your fingers and start to close the handle of the tool. As the handle

WARNING: Crimp Alignment
When using the AnyPort Express Crimp Tool with “F” connectors, if the connector is inserted into the tool at an angle
(refer to Figure #2 below), not only is there a risk of an improper crimp, but damage to the tool may also result (refer to
Figure #3 below). To prevent improper crimping and tool breakage, installers must ensure the connector is inserted
parallel with the tool (refer to Figure #1 below) and not at an angle.
