1. Place Rubber Washer onto Escutcheon.

2. Place Escutcheon into tank square hole. The U-channel

opening should point to 10 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions.

3. Slide Brass Washer onto Escutcheon's thread.

4. Place Brass nut counter-clockwise onto Escutcheon's thread.

Tighten securely.

5. Insert Brass Rod into Escutcheon's U-channel. Rod's bend

should point downward to the 6 o'clock position.

6. Place Handle onto Brass Rod's splined shaft. Handle should

point downward to the 6 o'clock position. Push Handle and

Brass Rod together to seat.

7. Place a drop of thread locker (not supplied) onto #2 Screw thread

near thread's end. Attach #2 Screw to Handle and then tighten securely.

NOTE: Suggested thread locker LOCTITE 241.
