INSTALLATION—Kitchen Faucet
1. Replace sink faucet aerator with the enclosed Aerator Adaptor
(see diagram A).
2. The Baby Shower comes ready to connect to the Aerator Adap-
tor. Pull the white collar on the Quick Disconnect down, place
over newly installed faucet aerator, and push up to secure. Be
sure it is securely in place before running water (see diagram B).
3. Insert rubber washer into couplers at each end of Hose.
4. Attach one end of Hose to the Filter Housing. Attach the
other end of Hose to Shower Handle.
5. To activate the filtration media, run water for 2 minutes before
using.
6. The Shower Handle can be used to fill the baby bath tub and as a
rinse to direct soap and shampoo away from baby’s eyes.
INSTALLATION—Shower Arm
1. Remove existing shower head from shower arm
2. Screw Hose Bracket onto shower arm
3. Remove the “Quick-disconnect” from Ribbed Collar.
4. Screw Ribbed Collar to Hose Bracket
5. Insert rubber washer into couplers at each end of Hose.
6. Attach one end of Hose to the Filter Housing. Attach the other
end of Hose to Shower Handle.
7. To activate the filtration media, run water for 2 minutes
before using.
FILTER CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT (Cartridge Model HHC)
The filter cartridge should be replaced every 3 months or 3,000 gallons,
whichever comes first.
1. Remove cartridge by unscrewing Filter Housing at the Ribbed
Collar. Twist and pull the cartridge to remove from Filter Housing.
2. Remove paper seals from each end of the new filter cartridge
(Model HHC) and lubricate o-rings with a small amount of Vase-
line.
3. Insert cartridge into filter housing and reattach shower handle
assembly at Ribbed Collar.
4. Run water for two minutes before using.
NOTICE OF LIMITATIONS
The Baby Shower® is designed for potable water systems only.
CAUTION
1. Always check for a safe bathing temperature, before plac-
ing child under shower spray, or in bath water.
2. Never leave a child unattended in the bath/shower.
3. The Baby Shower is not to be used as a drinking water
filter.
4. Keep plastic bags, used in packaging, away from children.
WARRANTY
Consumer Product
Limited One Year Warranty Policy
Sprite Industries warrants the shower filter
housing only (not the cartridge) to be free of
defects for a period of one (1) year when
used under normal operating conditions. At
the time of purchase, it is the owner’s re-
sponsibility to complete the product warranty
information and submit to Sprite Industries.
To keep proof of purchase of the unit and all
replacement cartridge(s) and to demonstrate
that proper cartridge replacement and filter
maintenance was performed as specified in
the owner’s instructions.
The provisions of this warranty shall not ap-
ply to any product that has been submitted
to: Abuse, neglect, over-tightening, lack of or
improper periodic filter replacement, repaired
or altered by anyone other than an author-
ized Sprite Industries service representative,
and will VOID the warranty in its entirety.
This is exclusive remedy and liability for con-
sequential damages. There are no other
warranties, expressed or implied, limited to
the extent permitted by law.
