Installation and Operation Instructions

This item is designed to provide support and increase

stability for a person weighing up to 250 lbs. This bar is

NOT designed to support the total weight of an

individual.

Use the tub bar for assistance when entering or exiting

the bathtub only. Use extreme caution on wet tub or

oor surfaces. Users with limited physical abilities should

be supervised or assisted when using this tub bar.

1. Thoroughly clean area of tub (D) where tub bar is to

be attached.

2. Slide the small bracket (A) into the base (B) of the

bathtub bar so that the padded area of the small

bracket (A) is angled down.

3. Insert the knob (C) through the base (B) and fasten to

the small bracket (A) by turning the knob (C)

clockwise.

4. Lower the safety tub bar over the external wall of the

bathtub so that the knob (C) is outside the bathtub.

Secure in place by tightening the knob (C) (turn

clockwise).

5. Try moving the safety tub bar to ensure it is securely

fastened. If necessary, continue to tighten, but do not

over tighten.

Caution: Do not use until it is securely fastened to the

bathtub. For berglass or plastic tubs, we recommend

using a wall-mounted grab bar.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleanthesafetybarperiodicallyusingamildsoap 

and water or a non-abrasive cleaner

• Inspectthebarforloosenesspriortoeachuse.If 

loose, tighten the knob (C) until the tub bar is once

again secure

• Donotuseifanydamagetothetubbarisdetected

IInstrucciones de instalación y funcionamiento

Este artículo está diseñado para brindar apoyo y

aumentar la estabilidad para personas que pesan hasta

250 libras (113 kg). Esta agarradera NO está diseñada

para sostener el peso total de una persona.

Use la agarradera para tina a modo de asistencia

solamente cuando entre o salga de la tina. Tenga

mucha precaución sobre las supercies de tinas o pisos

húmedos. Los usuarios con capacidades físicas limitadas

deben ser supervisados o asistidos al usar la agarradera

para tina.

1. Limpie bien el área de la tina (D) donde vaya a

colocar la agarradera para tina.

2. Deslice el soporte pequeño (A) por la base (B) de la

agarradera para tina de manera que el área acolchada

del soporte pequeño (A) quede inclinada hacia abajo.

3. Introduzca la manija (C) por la base (B) y ajústela

contra el soporte pequeño (A) girando la manija (C)

hacia la derecha.

4. Baje la agarradera de seguridad para tina por la pared

externa de la tina de manera que la manija (C) quede

fuera de la tina. Fije en su lugar ajustando la manija (C)

(gire hacia la derecha).

5. Pruebe mover la agarradera de seguridad para tina

para asegurarse de que esté bien rme. Si resulta

necesario, continúe ajustándola, pero no la ajuste en

exceso.

Precaución: no la utilice hasta que no esté bien ajustada

a la tina. Para tinas de bra de vidrio o de plástico reco-

mendamos utilizar una agarradera montada a la pared.

Cuidado y Mantenimiento

• Limpielaagarraderadeseguridadenformaperiódica

con jabón suave y agua o un limpiador no abrasivo.

• Inspeccionelaagarraderaparacomprobarqueno

esté oja antes de cada uso. Si está oja, ajuste la

manija (C) hasta que la agarradera para tina vuelva a

estar rme.

• Noutilicelaagarraderaparatinasidetectaalgún 

daño en la misma.
