wire rated at 6C. Supply conductors (power wires) connecting the
luminaire must be rated at minimum of 9C.
Product should be installed by an electrician and all electrical connec-
tions must be in accordance with local and National Electrical Code
(NEC) standards.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. For incoming Power/Aircraft Suspension Kit, attach Canopy Mounting
Bracket to Junction Box and Threaded Rod to center of Mounting Bracket
as shown in Figure A
2. Feed Power Cable from Kit through Canopy and wire according to the
wiring diagram in Figure B, using approved Wire Connectors
3. Feed Aircraft Cable through Cable Coupler so grommet end sits within
Coupler
4. Position Canopy over center Threaded Rod and secure in place using the
Cable Coupler, being sure not to pinch any of the wires and connections
in the Junction Box
5. Repeat for successive Aircraft Support Kits (sold separately) by spacing

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. On floor or table, install the Cable Gripper into the luminaires as shown
in Figure C.
2. Hang the start of run luminaire (or stand alone luminaire) by inserting
the Aircraft Cable through the Cable Grippers at the two ends. Adjust
the height and level the unit as necessary. Cut any excess cable as
necessary or coil up and secure with cable ties (not provided).
3. Prep each successive unit by attaching a Cable Gripper to the far end.
Note that each luminaire will mechanically connect to the unit previous-
ly raised.
4. Before raising the next luminaire, be sure to orient the unit so the
appropriate end is aligned with the previous luminaire (check the
Male/Female Wire Connectors).
5. Hang the successive luminaire as shown in Figure C. Adjust the height
and level the unit. Again, cut or coil excess cable as per Step 2.
6. Make the Wire Harness connections between the two (2) units and tuck
the wire inside the housing. There are two (2) Harnesses: one for power
and dimming controls and one for ground. Ensure both Harnesses are
connected between each luminaire.
7. Slide the two luminaires together, ensuring the Wiring Harness is not
pinched or damaged in the process. Secure the luminaire with two (2)
screws as shown in Figure D.
8. Repeat the process to complete the full run of luminaires.
9. Remove the Top Cover Plate from the first luminaire in the suspended
row by removing the two (2) screws shown in Figure E.
10. Cut Power Drop Cable to the necessary length ensuring to leave at
least 6-inches for wire prep and connections. String Power Feed Cable
through hole in Top Cover Plate.
11. Strip each wire within Power Drop (number of wires will vary depending
upon configuration).
12. Connect the power feed wires with the leads inside the luminaire using
approved wire connectors according to the diagram in Figure F.
13. Carefully tuck the connectors and excess wire inside the luminaire
channel. Position the Top Cover Plate and re-secure with the two (2)
screws.
