Cut ceiling opening 8.875 inch

diameter and position driver

mounting frame through

opening in ceiling

Assemble the channel bars to each

side of the mounting frame with the

included hardware. Leave the

hardware loose to adjust the position

of the frame in the ceiling. Adjust

channel bars to the correct spacing

between T-bar.

Secure channel bars to T-bar by means

of fastener (wire ties, screws, etc.) Re-

tighten both vertical adjustment nuts.

Re-tighten both

channel bar

clamping screws.

Slide mounting plate through the ceiling

and rest on mounting frame.

Locate aircraft cable kit.. Insert cable

gripper on the die cast end and

adjustable cable gripper on opposite end.

Install cable gripper onto luminaire on (4)

hangers.

Slide canopy, lock plate through aircraft

cable. Insert low voltage DC cable

coming from luminaire into ceiling

passing through canopy and lock plate.

Rotate mounting plate to make sure,

luminaire is aligned to desired position.

Secure luminaire position by fastening

lock plate against ceiling using (2X) #8

screws provided.

Secure canopy to the lock plate with

magnets provided on the lock plate.

Remove cover from low voltage box.

Connect run of wires from luminaire to

wires inside low voltage box making sure

colors match using terminal blocks

provided Tuck wires into low voltage box.

Secure cover using spring clip.

Insert conduit fitting to j-box shown

above. Make necessary electrical

connections on driver enclosure side.

Wire to requirements following local and

national electrical codes.

Luminaire is fully installed. Use

compressed air over entire lens to clean

up loose debris.

Non‐accessibleCeilingInstallation(e.g. plaster,drywall,etc)

Mount to ceiling structure with flanges on

channel bars resting against the bottom

faces of the joists. Drive included nail into

joist to secure. Move vertical adjustment to

lowest point.

Luminaire specified with sensor functionality

will ship with sensor, Cat5 cable and splitter.

Connect Cat5 cable to sensor and other end

to the nLight module power pack passing

through canopy and ceiling.

Connect Cat5 cable to the embedded nLight

module as shown above. This completes

daylight dimming and/or dual technology

occupancy detection.

Cut ceiling opening 5.125 inch diameter

and position driver mounting frame

through opening in ceiling.

Assemble the channel bars to each

side of the mounting frame with the

included hardware. Leave the

hardware loose to adjust the position

of the frame in the ceiling. Adjust

channel bars to the correct spacing

between T-bar.

Secure channel bars to T-bar by means

of fastener (wire ties, screws, etc.) Re-

tighten both vertical adjustment nuts.

Re-tighten both

channel bar

clamping screws.

Insert wires (red and black) coming out

of luminaire into stem Secure stem to

coupler on luminaire. Use tool to tighten

if needed.

Insert canopy and rest on luminaire.

Fasten 1/8 IP nut provided. Insert

hanger bracket and secure with other

1/8 IP nut provided. Make sure flange of

hanger is parallel with luminaire housing

side.

Insert luminaire into ceiling opening.

Avoid touching lens. Adjust luminaire to

desired position.

Secure luminaire position by fastening

lock plate against ceiling using (2X) #8

screws provided.

Secure canopy to the lock plate with

magnets provided on the lock plate.

Position in desired location.

Remove cover from low voltage box.

Bring wires from luminaire to inside of

the low voltage box and make sure

colors match using terminal blocks

provided for connection. Tuck wires into

low voltage box. Secure cover using

spring clip.

Dust and loose contaminants must be cleaned using compressed air. Hold the can 8” to 10“ away from lens and use short bursts.

DO NOT use cleaning products on optic lens.

Luminaire is fully installed. Use

compressed air over entire lens to clean

up loose debris.

Non‐accessibleCeilingInstallation(e.g. plaster,drywall,etc)
