he Crestron
®
TST-902-DSW-PMK consists of a single metal
plate that fastens to a stud of a framed wall prior to hanging
drywall. Standard drywall screws or nails to attach the
TST-902-DSW-PMK are not supplied.
The plate is designed to provide the necessary support for the
TST-902-DSW (sold separately) and can mount on the right
side or the left side of a stud.
To install the device, do the following:
1. Position the plate against the front edge of the stud. If
mounting the plate to the left side of the stud, it must be
rotated so the extended edge is on the left side.

AUTION: Allow an air gap of at least 12 inches
(305 mm) in the wall cavity above and below the
TST-902-DSW for heat dissipation.
2. Attach the plate to the stud using standard drywall
screws or nails (not included).
3. Position the drywall over the TST-902-DSW-PMK.
4. Cut a rectangular opening in the drywall to expose
the 06-32 tapped holes near the four corners of the
opening in the plate and the notch at the top center of the
opening.
NOTE: Cut the drywall along the inside edge of the
front of the mounting plate. The labels on the front of the
mounting plate indicate the perimeter of the opening that
should be cut.
NOTE: The four tapped holes on the front of the
mounting plate must be exposed in order to accept the
TST-902-DSW mounting screws. These holes are found
along the top and bottom of the drywall opening. In
addition, the notch at the top center of the back box must
be exposed in order to accommodate the TST-902-DSW
locking latch.
5. Complete the installation by installing the TST-902-DSW,
installing the optional cover plate with the included
06-32 x 1 1/2” screws, or leaving the hole open (if
permitted by local building codes).
