to push the attachment into the handle, whilst still holding the handle
in the closed position you will need to line up the grooves on the
attachment so that they connect with the tong attachment and it clicks
into place.
NOTE: When using the 19mm tong you will just need to insert it as one
attachment, as the spring lever is already attached to the tong.
Instructions of use for 13mm and 16mm Tong Attachments
• Section dry hair evenly and comb through before styling. For tighter,
bouncier curls use less hair. For free-owing curls use more hair.
• Pressing the lever, place the ends of the hair underneath the lever.
• Once hair is in place carefully let go of the lever so the hair is held
securely between lever and barrel.
• Wind the hair around the barrel towards the scalp at a slight angle so
the hair wraps around the barrel in a spiral motion.
• As you wind the hair around the barrel, ensure the hair is distributed
evenly so the entire section is touching the barrel. Try not to overlap
the hair as it is wound around the barrel as this means not all of the
hair section will get heated to create an even curl result.
• Hold in place for 5-10 seconds depending on the texture and length
of your hair.
• To remove the tong press the lever and pull tong away. To ‘set’ the
style, do not comb or brush hair until it cools.
• Repeat as necessary.
• After use, switch off and unplug the appliance. Allow to cool before
storing away.
