OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket.
• To switch the appliance ON, press the ‘I/O’ key. The ON indicator
light will illuminate red.
• Select the required heat setting using the temperature dial. There are
25 temperature settings to select from (refer to temperature setting
guide table above). For delicate, ne or coloured hair, use the lower
heat settings. For thicker hair, use the higher heat settings. Always
start with the lowest temperature setting and increase the level of
heat as required.
• The appliance will almost instantly heat up to the chosen heat setting.
IMPORTANT: The plates will become very hot when the appliance is
heated up. Take care to avoid the hot surfaces of the appliance coming
into direct contact with the skin, in particular the ears, eyes, face and
neck.
• Always place on a rm surface for safety. Do not place the appliance
on any heat sensitive surfaces.
• After use, switch off and unplug the appliance. Allow to cool fully
before storing away.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
The appliance may require cleaning due to a build up of residue from
hair products.

• Using a damp cloth and mild detergent or soap, wipe the appliance.
• Ensure the appliance has dried thoroughly before re-using.
IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
